Repetitive But Necessary

No secret by now its 99.9% likely we will have a new regime and a new QB next year.  But I think we can all agree that we have a lot of young talent on this team and are just missing a few pieces.  We have a great Center in Pouncey, a great LT, a nice promising young back in Daniel Thomas.  Good young wr's in Bess, Bmarsh and Hartline along with Wallace and Gates and a Defense that needs to find its identity but a year ago was top 10.  You can't tell me that had having the no. 1 pick in the draft and a new coach wouldnt change this whole franchise around instantly.  Ticket sales would sky rocket...nation wide interest and coverage would consume Miami.  And we would be set for the next decade at the most important position.  You watch the GB vs ATL game last night and you notice how Rodgers compensates for all their weaknesses.  Bad o-line, np he can scramble and make the amazing throw, defense doing poorly, np, he'll get a quick score and turn the momentum.  Luck can do this all and we are in a perfect position to turn our franchise around just like Detroit did with Stafford and Indy did way back when they drafted Peyton.  I'm sorry, but i've been a dolphins fan since i was 5 and i'll tell you right now I would take going 1-15 and yes, tank every game to get Luck, bc ultimately what is the difference between 5-11 or 1-15?  Either way your losing, the fans dont want to go to the games, and you are looking to rebuild.  Atleast this way we have the top pick and a guy who could potentially change things around by himself.  I'll take a half a year on purpose (the first half we tried and just lost) so that we could win for the next decade.  The other winless teams, STL and Indy could also be in the luck sweepstakes but STL won't considering how much Bradford is getting paid and Indy might considering Peyton could teach him for a year or 2...but I would sense they would trade back and take 5 more picks.  I know there are people who believe what I do, but honestly just think of what this offense could and team could be.  You see what Cam Newtown and Andy Dalton are doing, and then imagine Andrew Luck and his precesion, his skill, i mean heck, the guy hits like a linebacker and runs like a half back.

Call me crazy but this will be the first week ever that if we lose to the jets, i won't be that mad and punch a whole through the wall because Andrew Luck can make Sundays for the next 10+ years that much better for all of us.
