Dolphins Looking Into Stanford's Harbaugh
Since I already have a fanshot up, I'm just going to add this thought here:
We need to keep in perspective that we played 10 games this season against playoff teams. We played once against a hot Lions team that ended the season 4-0 (which doesn't make that loss look as bad) and The Bills have put up points all season. We also lost to a Browns team that beat the Patriots and narrowly missed beating The Jets in OT. We had probably the toughest schedule in The NFL.
I still would want Harbaugh over Sparano though :) Discuss!

I understand your reasoning with the schedule difficulty
But if you beat the bad teams and lose to the good teams, that still makes you a mediocre team. It’s not so much a matter of wins and losses as it’s a matter of our team appearing to regress. Do we really look any better today than we did in 2009? Or in 2008?
And as for Harbaugh – yeah. More than Sparano, but I’d prefer Cowher.
"Every island has a beach and mine there will be called Beast Beach."
Leading the drive for our new offensive coordinator: Mr. Dan Marino
I'm not willing to give up Nolan for Cowher.
It feels like too much regression. In 2007, nothing worked. That’s why a total house cleaning was in order, but right now the defense works and it works well. I feel like a real offensive minded coach is the answer to our problems and Harbaugh fits that description.
For the record, I agree with you about the mediocre team losing to good teams. I was just throwing that thought out there because it could stimulate some debate about whether or not we truly did better than last year. Our schedule was tough as nails both years though.
