Looks like Ponder had a fine game, other QBs so-so. Locker helped lead aTD drive however had some accuracy issues and fumbled a couple times, saved by his Oline on those though.

really wasn't sold on Ponder.

But after the game, he got my attention.

Now sold on any QB at this point

No press coverage or blitzing, cover 1 or 3. Dont let would should be an offensive pitch and catch showdown cloud your judgement.

Fire Dan Henning!
Draft Wisienski, Pouncey and DJ Williams.

Well

I think you can take a few things away. Ponder’s arm strength looked good which was a big concern. Locker didn’t perform great even in what you described as a pitch and catch showing both accuracy issues and trouble holding onto the ball. The other QBs looked generally average. So there are a few things you can pick up from the game.

This is why so many of the scouts disappear before the game.

They watch the practices to get an idea of who is worthy of a pick and who isn’t. Hankerson probably elevated himself into the early second round category with his week in Mobile but none of the QBs really shined. Oh well, there’s still the combine.

NY Jets = NFL's Chicago Cubs

There's a fine line between hopeful and desperate. Just look @ Jets fans.
