My enthusiasm for the pro bowl gets criticized and ridiculed by co-workers and friends alike. While I must admit it gets harder and harder to pronounce to the world I will be watching the entire pro bowl, I would like to draw ona few positives regarding the "all-star game" if you can even call it that anymore.
Regardless of whether every star is playing, there still are premiers players out there giving it one alst go before they hang up their cleats. They usually pick them up about four months later when training camp begins, but that may not be the case this year. Pt. #1: WATCH THE PRO BOWL BECAUSE IT IS THE 2ND LAST WEEK OF PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL UNTIL POSSIBLY AUGUST OF 2012. With the cba still hanging around unnegotiated, why not watch one more week of football.
We have each, or most of us, watched 23 weeks of football including pre and post season, honestly what big sunday plans do you disregard for half the year and just happen to start up right now. For those of you with significant others, maybe the other doesn't even realize the game is meaningless and you get another afternoon of chilled out football in your life.
Watch it to see Long, Denney, Starks, and Wake. Wake will be in coverage the whole game, itll be interesting to see that. LBs cannot blitz in the pro bowl= more scoring. Watch the game for th trick plays. watch the game to see bellichick and brady cringe as they arent in the superbowl.
we dont get to see much of our dolphins until next august, or potentially longer, dont squander this last chance.
