I think Sparano can make him play nice with Marshall and Nolan. If we bring him in we instantly become much better on offense. Do you think Nolan would be that upset knowing that McDaniels got fired and is now his demoted to a coordinator just like him? I think it might just provide the right amount of spark during practice to make our team better. I don’t think Marshall will have that much of a problem with him either. The most important part of that problem was the money, which has now been taken care of. The other important part is McDaniels wouldn’t be completely in charge, but Sparano. Sparano would give him "goosebumps" every day and he would go out there and get the job done. Brandon Marshall is concerned about getting Brandon Marshall the ball and this guy knows how to make that happen, like no other potential candidate out there. After enduring the Dan Henning offense, I would be surprised if he is not outside Sparano’s door begging for this guy every single day. McDaniels has taken another Michigan QB(although a more proven one) and done some pretty good things. Honestly I think the biggest 2 things that Henne is missing from his Pro game is 1. Confidence and 2. Offensive head knowledge. The last offensive coordinator provided neither for him and if anything set him back a year or so. I would be ok with giving him another chance if we got the right piece in place at OC. But seriously… is there any other OC out there that we think could be the answer? Is there anyone that is more proven? Give me names….
