So here we are, with the saints and vikings opening up the season. Yeah yeah, I know, the purists (aka 100% dolphin homers) will say it is unrelated.
C'mon though, this is the opening game of the NFL season and a pretty darn good matchup too. Anyone else watching as a dispassionate but entertained neutral?
The Saints are already up 7-0 on a sweet Brees TD pass where he moved up in the pocket and found Henderson on an out and up.

the talent is there but with continuously adding and cutting players and reshuffling the line throughout the preseason (though incognito berger jerry all played together quite often), i feel like everyone will be on different pages come game time.

I don’t want to say it is overrated, but nothing builds chemistry quicker than winning. So whether a team has it or not, so long as they win, it isn’t a problem.
Conversely, losing though will really exploit a team’s lack of chemistry.

I'm just saying. Safety is a more important position IMO than CB. I see Davis as a great safety and a good CB.

Exactly and Smith was a guy that did not fumble much at all.
I heard Smith in an interview and he said that AP does things like not go down and fight for just one more yard and he winds up fumbling. His point was that if you have two defenders standing you up then you need to know your best bet is to go down our a third will come in and take that ball from you.
