Id like forronnie or ricky to get it,after last year,and all he’s been through,you woulda thought ricky earned it. Too soon for marshall,but cobbs isn’t even starting on special teams anymore. Imho,starks shoulda gotten it too. He was a big part of our d last year,and hell be an even bigger one this year.

I know on the phinsider board wars of the pre draft… when others (cough – matty – cough) were pushing C Long to be the top pick…or others who pushed for the QB. i was one of the few pushing for JLO… and one of my reasons was the report that he was truly the leader of the team and ruled over his teammates in the weight-room and wielded great influence as a result, even though he was a quiet guy of few words.
so i’m happy to hear that his influence has transferred with him to the pros… way to go jake.

It's funny how many people have issues with who was selected
When it’s the players who vote to make the Captains. If the players thought someone should have been a Captain, don’t you think they would have been?
This isn’t some random decision by someone who doesn’t see what’s going on in the locker room – this is the players of the team selecting the leaders and dereving guys who they feel should have a C on their chest.
Congrats to all four guys, and let’s trust the 53 men on the team to have picked the right four for them.

I do find it a little funny that Cobbs was picked….apparently being able to do many different things earns you respect, even when you dont do that well at any of those many things……just saying :)
