The Miami Dolphins have signed unrestricted free-agent LB Bobby Carpenter (Rams), according to NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Also there was always a debate around here as to if he was a bust or not.
One side argued that he played pretty well but the other side argued that he was a bust because he did not play to the level of a guy picked in the first round. Hes a good player just not as good as an 18th overall pick should be. Its a great pickup for us IMO.

Charlie Anderson isn't anything special
Busting just means you didn’t live up to your draft-position/hype. Doesn’t always mean you are terrible.
Especially if your taken 18th overall and do not bet out the starter.

but I wasn’t happy with Anderson – Oh, he had his moments but I don’t think he was 16 game starter material. Not that Carpenter is but I’m glad they signed him.

I’m with you. It somewhat surprised me that Anderson made the original cut, so to give a former Parcells 1st rounder a shot I have no problem with.

andersen wasnt starter material but i think hes way better than this guy. you gotta remember he got cut by the rams.
