I like to gloat when I am right. Its a flaw of mine.

I can be a fan of a team AND other players as well. I am not the kinda guy who hates every player who is not on the Phins. And I am not the kinda fan who just drinks all the kool aid and believes that every move of the Phins FO should be 100% supported and not questioned. Sometimes they make good moves and some times they make stupid moved. Trading Camarillo for a guy who most likely will be gone when Allen is healthy was dumb and I am not so blind that I cannot see it or so dumb that I cannot admit that I think it was a dumb move.

Hype does not equil respect to me. Show me what you can do. White never did that and looked SO bad that some realized that he would never pan out.

Also I guess I am more gloating cus I said this LONG ago when I heard about Parcells not ever wanting to draft White in the 2nd to begin with. I think thats the kicker for me here cus so many said I was crazy.. and wrong.. and that White was loved and would be on this roster because of so much up side… so much potential.. I just dont see how some couldnt see how horrible he was/is. Some of you wana attack me and say i am not a true Mimai fan cus I dont root for players who I can see are useless.. You wana bash on me cus I point out how bad they look and whatnot. You go off on me and attack me and say i am not a true fan because I dont root for players like Ginn and White but see I guess I walk to a different beat or something. Cus I think a true fan wouldnt want someone as bad as White on their team. In my eyes I want the best players we can have and when were waisting a roster spot on someone who truely sucks I have no problem voicing my opinion. I feel as a fan its my right to speak up when the team is failing to make the right moves. I guess I am not a follower. I dont get all caught up in the hype and MEDIA potential that certain players get. Pat White never deserved to be so highly praised and now the truth is out and it feels good to be on the right side of the debate. :)

And just becuase I speak my mind on players who ANYONE should be able to see suck that does not make me a horrible person. White was a bust from day one. No matter how much the media “loved” the pick.. or how much certain fans loved his “huge upside”.. his “serious potential” Or how “great of athlete he was” it was not hard to see that he was no where near what some made him out to be.

Ya’ll can fall back and use the “I support all phins while they are phins” but again thats just not me. If a player sucks it makes zero sense to let him keep a valuable roster spot which is always needed. Am I an ass for speaking out? Fine if thats what I am then I am ok with it. Im not going to sit and chear on a player becuase i HOPE he is the next great player. He has to show me something at some point. I was discusted by the Pat White pick to begin with but I gave it some time to work.. it did not work. Dont be mad cus I voice my opinion on a player who sucks. I get peeved at people who give players chance after chance based on hype and hope that they will end up working out even when the writing has been on the wall from day 1.

As far as hating pat white.. naaa he seems like a good, but confused kid. Ya’ll hold no issues with him giving up on the team at the beginnign of training camp? He was not gona show and it was not cus of any “injury” he was asked to do something he didnt wana do so he bailed. Ya thats the kinda player I wana give my support too. Sure he was “talked off the ledge” by someone and came into training camp but its obvious that the “illness” was not getting what he wanted. He made it very clear on his twitter when he said he wanted to be back playing baseball. So if people here wanna support a guy/kid like that then so be it but if these younger players dont wana be on a team and do what is asked and put in the effort then go find another job. Dont waste a valuable roster spot or the time the coaches could be spending on someone else. It only hurts the team and that is most important over everything else. Why would I give my support to a quitter? And just because I voice my opinion it does not make me a bad person.. it makes me a real person.

Because he wasn’t willing to admit that he was not an NFL QB and just become the WR that we all wanted him to be. Maybe this wakes him up and he realizes how useful he can be in the NFL…. Then again, maybe he just goes and plays baseball…….. w/e…

But seriously I do feel kinda bad for White.. and I dont “hate” him as a person but just disslike him as a QB. He just was not QB material and he would never live up to all the hype surrounding him. (see Ted Ginn Jr pick) But even if he had provided just a solid wrinkle in the wildcat I woulda been on board. He just couldnt provide even that.

 I still use Pat White on Madden. He still is able to pull off some great runs now and then!! lol

Please spare me the bs. I may look at it different then you but I am not wrong in how I chose to look at it. White was never going to live up to his hype and holding out a roster spot for him is just not a smart move. Obviously the FO thought along the same lines as me here. Not saying I am uber smart or anything as it does not take all that much brains to see how bad White was.
