If they know of a guy who is better than someone they would leave on the team, why not get him
Our O- line is actually the # 1 thing that has me worried about the season. The only two who remain from last year our Long and Carey on the ends. Lets hope they can learn to play well together with Incognito, Berger/Grove, and Jerry.
If we can’t run and get the nice push we had on teams last year ( at least for the first 3 quarters of games) We are going to be in for rough opening schedule handling Vikes D line and then Jets.
I think our entire defense will only get better as the season goes on. More exp for young guys, any exp for rookies, and completely learning the new (hopefully more complex ) defensive system.
Berger & Grove were here all last year,
Jerry & Richie are new (to the team).

yes I know that but Berger filled in the last 6 after Grove got hurt
I mean they need to pick the starter and let the line solidify. Every great O -line and QB has 4 or 5 of the same guys for a few years. If we want to contend for years to come we need to find the best one and stick with it.

Just watched the Dallas game
and he played the first half at RG then RT in the 3rd quarter and he did very well against Starks,Odrick,McDaniel,Wake etc. in 1 on 1 situations..he was beaten three times but one was against Wake so does that one even count ?

Pat McQuistan is a Parcells pick (7th rounder) from the Cowboys
He’s a marginal player, but he is NFL roster worthy and he has experience playing LT, LG, RG, and RT
Not as good as Nate Garner, but he is athletic, plays special teams, and is versatile. Twin brother of Paul McQuistan who was a third round draft pick of the Raiders
