Respecting the AFC East... passing game at least.

Well, it was a loss and yes the Defense did make mistakes, but all in all… it was a good game.  A plus side is… our Offense showed the ability to make plays. On a few of those plays I think we should have run Polite…. ummmm, that 3rd and goal for example. BUT!

This little tid bit is about the AFC East in general, A hats off to the Jets are in order.  They did play a good game and yea Sanchez seems to be gaining his confidence.  The Jets played as a solid team.  The Bills also had a good game against the Pats.  It’s come to a point where you have to give the respect to the AFC East in general.  We all have the ability to win games. Yes, even the Bills.  Here are the QB stats from yesterdays AFC East games.

Fitzpatrick:  20/28    247 Yards with 2TD’s and 2 Int’s

Brady:          21/27   252  Yards with 3TD’s and 0 Int’s

Henne:         26/44   363  Yards with 2TD’s and 1 Int

Sanchez       15/28   256  Yards  with 3 TD’s and 0 Int’s

Now, I don’t know about you guys but, good grief… We all did a bang up job against each other.  Both games we very good games. Lets look at totals:

82/127 for 1118 yards, 10 TD’s and 3 Int’s.  WOW! Nearly 65% of passes completed, 13.6 yards per pass completion, 42 Pass attempts for each Int., and statistically; every 8th pass completion resulted in a TD…..

What a division!  Now that’s some exciting football!

Lets add in Kicking:  Total for 8/10 = 24 points

Total points between both games:  122 points

I felt like writing something and I didn’t really want to harp on what we did right and what we didn’t do.  So I thought I’d throw something else out there to chew on… after all, it’s Monday.  That makes it bad enough…..

Oh, and I just save 15% on my car insurance by switching to Geico. (NOT REALLY)
