USA Today giving the Dolphins some love,...

What a pleasant surprise I got today when I sat down for lunch. Front page of the USA Today's sports section, there they where. A nice cover story all about our defense. And, I have to say what a breath of fresh air it was to not read a single mention of any former players from our defense. Now the trick is, as I see it, for the players to not beleive the hype. They need to stay hungry ! Like the former Buckeye Chris Speilman says, "see ball, get ball" ( I heard that last night from the broadcasters while watching the Canes,.....and it sounds dead on to me ). Put Sanchez on his ass, stuff LT, and how about a pick 6 for good measure. I'm hyped out of my mind on a Friday afternoon and Sunday night seems like years away. A two day sedative could be in order, although I'm not sure that would work either. I'll try my standard 5 mile run instead.

USA Today also had a front page feature article about Marc Buoniconti as well today. It was 25 years ago that he got injuried and since then the Miami Project has raised over 300 million dollars for paraylsis research. Bravo !

Another point I would like to bring up that has been driving me nuts for some time now. Is anyone else sick & tired of seeing Tom Brady's face on the sponsers banner on the front page of The Phinsider ? I swear,...I just want to punch him in the face !
