This comes from Adam Caplan's Twitter page. If true, you have to wonder who becomes the number two TE behind Anthony Fasano.

The Dolphins have also waived KR Clifton Smith just two weeks after signing him. Anyone know who might return kicks this week?

they signed Epps to the practice squad last week

hopefully he’s getting bumped up.. could be a prelude to us opening the offense up more with games coming up against the blitz-happy (and Revis-less) Jets and the craptastic pass defense of the Pats.

If Nalbone has been cut

this is either a prelude to a trade or a PS TE being promoted. Only other opition would be to raid another’s PS

too bad they

did’nt keep david martin. yeah he was a little rusty but given a couple of weeks he could have been as good as he was in ‘08. just speculating mind you , have,nt checked his stats at buffalo, but I think they thought no one would grab him and he’d still be available, guess i’m just remembering how good him and fasano were together

I'm guessing Bess goes back there as a return man, again....

But should be interesting.

Noooooo!

I hope not. He muffs punts and sucks at returning.

Can't remember the last time Miami had so much talent.

This^^^^

Well muffs are going to happen but the key thing is that he sucks at returning

I doubt Smiths Muffs. He look like he tracts the ball well through the air. But whatever he’s gone. I wouldn’t mind seeing Carroll returning.

yes we are alpha, just not the type your thinkin of

also NO TO BESS! He is probably the worst return man ever. Muff’s the kick, slow as ****, dances entirely too much and has no yac ability.

It makes me very grumpy
I’d rather go for blocks every play than have bess returning punts

I like Epps only if we were going for a better receiving te opposite Fasano.

I take it that we want Mastrud in there to spring Fasano on routes

I guess Bess, Cobbs and Carroll are going to get their shot. I was surprised Carroll was inactive last week but this staff is known to sit guys in order to stoke the fire in them.

I don’t know about the TE situation I bet they put one of our many HB’s up there. As for return man I’m guessing nolan carroll or patrick cobbs.

Cutting smith was dumb

Now I gotta see Cobbs and his 4.67 speed struggle to get to the 20 and Bess play Dance Dance Revolution when he catches a punt

I agree although

if caroll or moore can return then I hear wanting to save the roster spot. It is just hard to not see what a probowl KR can do

"The first thing I do when I get out of bed and feel the jolt in my knees is think of Roy Winston. On the second step, my calcified Adam's apple starts bobbing, and I think of Carl Eller. A few more steps in the dark and it's Willie Lanier. By the time I get to the bathroom, I'm flashing back to Dick Butkus and Ray Nitschke. And when the light finally comes on, I just hope that somewhere in the darkness they're thinking of me, too" - Larry Csonka.

They atr going to trade Nolan Carroll

back to the 9ers for Ted Ginn, who will return kicks. After all it is the Jets. :-)
