Hell Yes! Just saw this on Mike and Mike.

He was pulled over just after 5am this morning with a .16 BAL. They pulled him over for overly tinted windows and smelled alcohol on his breath, and he blew a .16. Arraigned later today.

You know, I could care less about the excuses from Jets fans. If Revis and Edwards are out, then I’ll be happy.

However, let’s say Braylon gets bail, and the league is pending a decision. Do you think the Jets would do the right thing and sit him, or wait for the league to punish him?

Oh they'd play him for sure.

Gonna take a fortnight at least to get this herd down to St. Louis on Mississippi. This glen's gonna be tough to traverse, and that river's got to be 50, 60 meters wide. And God knows how many fathoms. To hell with parliamentary procedure. We've got to wrangle up some cattles!

Yea

Does Rex Ryan look like a guy who would do such a thing? They want all they can have to play against us.

Herm Edwards would have had him sit for one game for his own good,

Rex will not only play him, but will go deep to him on the first play of the game.

I am sure the fans will have plenty to say to him. Maybe he gets rattled.

the worst thing is he was with Donte Stallworth the night before he had his problem

You’d think your friend being behind the wheel of a car that killed a man at around the same time Edwards was driving would have been enough to get him to call a cab. Unbelievable how much these guys take for granted their situation.

I probably know Judo! How many of you can make the same boast?

I think he won't even gets suspended

NFL only suspends people when it involves a gun or getting some action from a women, or doing something disrespectful to a women or taking steroids.

then again that guy on the Browns

tried to take a gun onto a plane in his carry on bag… I don’t even think he got suspended LOL

by DRoyce on Sep 21, 2010 9:49 AM EDT up reply actions

it depends on previous issues

If he’s already in the substance abuse program then he’s getting suspended. If not then it’s likely a fine.

Let him play,...

I have faith in our DB’s to cover him. And,….I’m thinking our team puts some serious hurting on Sanchez. So, you can’t catch it if you don’t have time to throw it…

Its just BS that he can have a DUI and still play in the same week

But I actually dont care if he does because he sucks anyways

The Police don't wanna get sued

Braylon is a VIP and they don’t wanna take a chance with Bubba saying hi, or Tyrone shanking him.

League may or may not do anything, depends on if he has been caught in the past.
Ronnie had a DUI and league didn’t do anytrhing because it was his first tiem getting in trouble.
Edwards case depends on if he has failed any substance testing in the past. Once you hit the number you get the penalty.

by scorp on Sep 21, 2010 10:20 AM EDT reply actions

He was already on probation

for that incident with LeBron James & Co. I’m pretty sure he has to get a suspension from this, the league actually views it as a substance abuse violation.

by cpmustangs13 on Sep 21, 2010 11:28 AM EDT reply actions

they dont suspend unless its for multiple substance abuse violations

If this fell under the league’s personal conduct policy then he’d be liable for a suspension

I probably know Judo! How many of you can make the same boast?

by Souwantmyname on Sep 21, 2010 11:40 AM EDT up reply actions

Dolphins would suspend him even if the league didn't

We have class here.

I’ll be very surprised if the Jets do.

Will Allen too

although it’s a different set of circumstances, Edwards has a track record of doing the wrong thing and Brown/Allen are basically the opposite.

Exactly.

We have to be careful here. Calling for Edward’s head smacks of hypocrisy with the late night adventures of our own players this offseason.
