Where are they now?
Thought it might be useful in assessing the 2010 squad to see what the players who were on the Dolphins roster for the first game of 2009 but have since been cut or traded got up to this weekend. Not a particulalry impressive set of stats, suggesting that we are in a better place this year.

Excellent Update
I only wished that JT was still here for quality depth, his 1st game stats isn’t bad either. Imagine if he gave us those stats every game while platooning at OLB. Still, I would love to see Charles Grant’s name on the list, and hopefully he ends back up on our roster.
THE 70,S ARE FINALLY BACK. WELCOME TO THE FINS NEW SB ERA, 2010-
Nuthin' against JT,
but I don’t think he’ll keep up that production all season. As the season wears down, so will he.
Disclaimer: I also predicted Favre would not last, last season.
Where did I hear Porter’s hurt? I thought I read that?!
I’m on the side of true love…and a good running game.

I think JT would have been nice for depth
The same idea as Wake coming in on passing downs last year for fresh legs, JT could spell either Misi or Wake if they got tired from long drives, and if they really wanted to bring the heat, put him in as the other ILB next to Dansby to rush.
I agree, but JT isn't (wasn't) keen on rotating. At all.
That could spell Porterism (tension).

JT was a beast in that game,
he is even a better OLB now, it was a stupid move not to resign him.

Against the run beast
Not so good Pass rushing.
Can't remember the last time Miami had so much talent.
Rusty Smith! (Titans future qb)
Camarillo trade made 0 sense. A starting clutch WR for a 29 year old back-up CB? Someone found Rickey's old stash.
Practice Squad
Pat White (Kansas City Royals)
lol, minor league team

I know, just wanted to fit it in with the theme
Figure a practice squad is the NFL equivalent to a Minor League MLB team
Minor League MLB team
is equivalent to = hot dog vendor. You know how difficult it is to get called up lol? id rather sit on the browns bench if i wanted to have a chance to be a pro star

We obviously were able to do without all these guys.
I’m sure it’s escaped no one but all our depth is developmental now. Cheap and hungry. let’s hope the talent level is developed, too.
The 2010 Miami Dolphins. It's time to put the beat-down on the rest of the NFL!
rofl on the Ted Ginn's family comment
Jason Taylor’s stats are mis-leading: when you play only in passing situations, you tend to be more fresh. Jets’ system makes it much easier to wreak havoc, too.
Gonna take a fortnight at least to get this herd down to St. Louis on Mississippi. This glen's gonna be tough to traverse, and that river's got to be 50, 60 meters wide. And God knows how many fathoms. To hell with parliamentary procedure. We've got to wrangle up some cattles!
He was starting for injured Pace,
and he was a force in that game, especially setting the edge.

He did well
but Misi still did better. And Misi is allegedly our backup… so….

Totally disagree,
Misi had a nice game, he was pushed around at times, he is ahead of many in his position, for a rookie, but JT was a force in that game, Misi isn’t there yet.

JT looked fresh since it was the 1st game of the year
I’ll be interested to see how fresh those legs look 10 games from now.
Even the Jests originally signed him to play in only 3rd down situations but they’ve had to give him more snaps due to other injuries.
How will he last is the question.

The only two guys there you'd really miss
are JT and Camarillo.
JT is going to enjoy playing in that Jets defence – they were beastly. Shame he won’t make the playoffs, though. Shoulda stayed here, Taylor!
As for Camarillo, the man has silk hands, but I do understand why we let him go. I’d take him over hartline, the FO wouldn’t. I trust them.
Also, I’m rooting hard for Teddy but I don’t see much success for him in SF. I thought they’d be bad before the season but goddamn were they worse.
I like this idea.
Thanks for putting this together.
