Orlando Area Dolfans (TV question)
Hey guys, I just moved up to Orlando this summer, and I've heard that this area is in the Jacksonville Jaguars market. I've always lived in Ft. Myers, so this has never been an issue for me.
So I'm trying to figure out what to expect this season. Are Dolphins games regularly on CBS here, or will I need to find a place to go to watch the games.
If I need to go out, any Dolphin-friendly bars I should check out?
Thanks in advance!

Jacksonville gets the first shot at Orlando market
If Jacksonville game is blacked out or is on another channel, then Miami is on. My suggestion is to get Directv and the NFL Ticket. It is a little expensive, but think of all the money you will spend at a bar and you probably come out ahead. Usually we get about half of the Miami games, it all depends on Jacksonville selling out there games.

Jacksonville blacks out a lot so most Phins games are on CBS or Fox. One the weekends it’s not I usually just go to the local sports bar, there is usually quite a few Dolphin fans out.
Here's the thing
The blackouts for the Jacksonville games DO NOT effect the Orlando market, due to being a secondary Jacksonville market. So that means that CBS WILL SHOW every Jacksoville away game (they have to by NFL rule) when they are playing at home, sell out or no sell out, CBS will show the Dolphins games because they know that more people in the area want to see the Dolphins. They know this because since 1995 they have been flooded with calls every sunday they don’t show the Dolphins games.
Check this page http://www.clickorlando.com/seenon6/24353077/detail.html it is the schedule for the season on CBS, it’s a lifesaver if you don’t have the ticket but IMHO it’s definately worth it to get the ticket. But if you don’t check out The Hideaway Bar http://www.thehideawaybar.net. It’s a Miami Dolphin bar in Orlando, it’s not the best bar in the world, but you will be surrounded by Dolphin fans and they play the fight song after touchdowns! It’s super fun! Hope this helps.
Damn I wish we had a bar like that in the DFW area.

Anyone know where the game might be seen on regular broadcast or DirecTV?

lived in Orlando for about 5 years
Orlando’s a bad town to be a dolphan. I’m in Tampa now, and it’s been better, though I still gotta make a trip to the bar a handful of times a year.
Denver Market
I live in a suburb of Denver and only get AFC West games. If I had to watch the raiders one more time BAMM there goes my mind. Just get the ticket. Costly? Try about as much as going to one game!
Thanks for the help guys
I live in Union Park so it’s right between UCF and Downtown, figured there’d be somewhere to go. Unfortunately, my apartment lease won’t let me get a dish, so I’m stuck with Bright House.
