As if I wasn't excited enough for the upcoming season, I return to my roots. Road trip to Dolphin games in opposing stadiums ! If I've heard it once, I've heard it a million times,...."you going to wear your Dolphins gear there ??? You're going to get killed." Head to toe, that's how I roll. And sitting with my buddy discussing all thing Dolphins including what our game day clothing options might be,......one word ; happy !  I love being home ( if only for a short time ) and I love being able to catch the season opener. 

After while of that we planned our trip, it was easy really. Drive there, go to The Falls and walk the boardwalk/steps right next to it, check in our hotel, dinner at the Anchor Inn ( birthplace of the buffalo wings ), then a good nights sleep before the big day. THE BEGINNING OF THE DOLPHINS 2010 SEASON !!!!! I am so excited about the Dolphins game that I all but forgot about the Buckeye are playing The U on that day. Somehow, someway I going to have to work that into my plans as well. However, they will be playing 2nd fiddle that weekend as I have plans to attend their season opener as well down in Columbus. Did I mention I am loving being home.....

Conversation turned to tailgating what to bring and what to eat. Bob is so much different than "The Stalker". When I asked him what I should bring as far as tailgating gear, he looked at me funny and said " I thought you where bringing it all ! " Damn,...I love the way his mind works. We coined a saying years back while watching Dolphins games, " Go home happy". Meaning,....we're happy when they win, and sad when they lose. I can't tell you if we'll "go home happy",....but, one thing is for sure. We will leave home happy........
