After viewing the game last night and again today, one of the things that stood out to me, was the play of Tyler Thigpen. I think he will be our backup and I honestly think we got a good player for that 5'th rd pick. I like the way he can move and he has a nice "pro arm". This is a kid who everyone gave up on in KC for Matt Cassell, almost won the Steeler game for us, and was real productive last night. He can make beautiful throws with accuracy and distance. He can also "get out of trouble" when the rush gets near him. I know he is 2'nd string, but Pat White needs to show something now to remain on the team. I personally think that "Thiggy" could be an explosive NFL Quarterback. Our Defense showed pretty good flashes last night also. Nolan Carroll will be a steal. The D-Line looked nice, even the backups. Crowder had some good tackles with Dansby in there. I think we will have a solid D for years to come, maybe even like the late 90's early 00's Dolphins. We might not win it all this year, but, I think we will have a great team in all of the years to come!
