My fellow phinsiders it has been a long time since I posted the last time lately is has been more difficult since my hometown Monterrey city was hit by hurricane Alex this past week having flood many places in the city leaving 14,000 victims, only 14 deaths thanks to wise decision from the authorities and damages up to 1 billion dollars.

There is a dry river called Santa Catarina which crosses the city from east to west and is about 45 km (28 miles) long, 300 mts (330 yds)wide and 15 meters depth (45 ft). Here some links for you to have an idea how it looked:

The calculated height of water per square meter was 800 milimeters (32 inches per square yard). We just got spanked by mother nature.

I just want to share this with you and ask for your prayers.
