Distraction! Distraction! Read All About It!

Well, during this slow off-season we find ourselves fishing for Dolphin-related news but there just isn't any such news floating around right now. I had a fun idea so I took the liberty of creating this list. With all of this money going around in the NFL, the birth of a new kind of player was born, the prima donna. Prima donna- a temperamental person; a person who takes adulation and privileged treatment as a right and reacts with petulance to criticism or inconvenience. In other words a damn cry baby. Sound like a few players you know? I made a list to share with you all and we will now choose the all time biggest team distractor. Here they are in no particular order.

1. Jay Cutler- Sure he has a big arm but he has an arrogance about him that says, I rank amongst the best in the business. Sorry to break it to you Jay. You're not even a top 10 QB in this league. To top it off , at times he blames his teammates for some of the many interceptions he throws. Granted, they may be at the fault of his receivers at times but a true leader in this league puts the blame on his shoulders. Ever hear Peyton Manning blame Wayne or Clark? Didn't think so.

2. Randy Moss- Now, I will say that he has quieted down since he's been in New England but his ego was bigger than the state of Minnesota for the longest time, which caused feuds between him and his teammates.

3. Brandon Marshall- I cringe as I put him in this list, but it is what it is. I hope Parcells and Sparano keep him in check. Marshall has openly criticized his teammates and coaches. Then there's the no effort at practice, where he has jogged around and batted balls down. Check out the link. (It's in a comment from DeuceBlack) Thanks, by the way.

4.Terrell Owens- The man everybody loves to hate. Every quarterback he has played with has had some sort of issue with him or vice versa. Every team he has gone to has become the T.O. show. Who's to blame? Him or the media? Who knows? One thing we do know is he has been a cancer wherever he goes.

5. Chad Ochocinco- Chad at times is funny but there's a time and place. That place isn't on Sunday's during the regular season. The H.O.F. 20?? Really? Changing your name to Ochocinco. If this guy could have a giant fluorescent sign above his head that read "look at me," I bet he would.

Feel free to add to the list but these are my top 5. Notice a trend here? Ok for all you brainiacs, the majority are wide receivers. Interesting... Before you automatically consider T.O. Consider this. Though Owens has been a huge distraction wherever he goes, he's still a border line hall of famer. How about Plex or Vick? Couldn't those be counted too? Losing super stars or faces of your franchise can cause huge distractions, minus the production if they were actually in the game. In T.O.'s defense, he has stayed out of trouble and seems to put in a good effort.
