Bruschi Tackles Henne! (Figuratively Speaking)

Did anybody catch today's edition of Sports Center? Teddy Bruschi said it. I'm just relaying it. Chad Henne is due for a breakout season. I couldn't agree more. What made this even sweeter to hear was it came from a former Patriot. What's more is he mentions our great running game, great O-Line, solid defense (I would've loved to hear him elaborate on this) and obviously the addition of Marshall.

Now, back to Henne. The moment I saw Henne in action I knew he was our franchise QB in training. He showed some flashes last year. Henne would squeeze the ball into tight spaces with confidence. He displayed he could throw with some touch. I don't recall who this was thrown to but I believe it was Hartline, where Hartline is running toward the sideline and is blanketed by the corner but Henne drops it in perfectly right over his shoulders and into his hands. That is one of the many throws that stand out in my mind from last season. Also, clearly the guy has a cannon for an arm (see the Fins vs. Jets game). That bomb to Ginn showed once more that Henne has great potential and obviously an NFL arm. He was so poise and cool in the pocket. Reminds me a bit of Brady at times.

Is anybody else just about to burst from the anticipation of this season? And I thought last year was bad! After coming off that 11-5 season I couldn't wait for the 09' season to start. Funny how that works. We're coming off a 7-9 campaign, yet, I've never been so excited for a season to start. We have reason to be. With all of these great additions, this should be a season to remember. Go Dolphins!!!!
