The All-Miami Team. Here's the List!

Please no more redundant posts. Bring on some originality, something fresh. Easier said then done, I know. I have not been on this site long enough to know if this has been done but If it has, oh well. Knowing you guys I'm sure this has been discussed at one point or another. I wanted to do an All-Miami team. The best players at their positions in Dolphins' history. Starting with the offense,

WR-1 Mark Clayton- Clayton is number one on Miami's all-time receptions list with 550, second most receiving yards with 8,643 at 15.7 ypc. With 28/100yrd. games.

WR2-Mark Duper- Duper is second in receptions at 511 and is first in yards with 8,869 at 17.4 ypc. With 22 100yrd. games. Here's a little fun fact. The next guy down the list even close to 22/100yrd. games in Chambers with 17. Goes to show you what kind of drought we've been on at WR.

WR-3- Nat Moore- Moore is third with 510 and is also third in yards with 7,547 at 14.8 ypc. 12/100yrd. games.

LT- Jake Long (will outshine Richmond Webb) Long will protect Henne's blind side for many years as Webb did for Marino

LG- Bob Kuechenberg- Border line hall of famer. One of those players who's mouth may be the deciding vote. Named to 6 pro bowls.

C- Dwight Stephenson- A mountain of a man. This second round pick in 1980 for the Fins is recognized as the premiere Center of his time. Elected to 5 consecutive pro bowls.

RG- Larry Little- A quick lineman. Fast and intimidating. Elected to 5 pro bowls and awarded the offensive lineman of the year award 3 times.

RT- Norm Evens- Participated in the only undefeated campaign by our beloved Dolphins. Selected to 2 pro bowls and played in 3 Super Bowls.

TE- Jim Mandich- He's the man! Who else was I going to put? McMichael?

QB Dan Marino- Just a mere 61,361 career passing yards, 420 touchdowns, and just about every other Dolphin and NFL record at QB, Dan truly was magnificent.

FB- Larry Csonka- This 5 time Pro Bowler defines what a football player should be. 3/1,000 yrd. seasons and over 6,700 rush yards.

RB-Ricky Williams- He would be by far the all time leading rusher if not for all the suspensions. He is second to Csonka in almost every category.

Here's another fun fact for you all. There has never been a 100+ reception season EVER by any Miami Dolphin. Can Marshall make history this season?

Here is an honorable mention list for QB,WR,RB, and TE.

QB- Bob Griese

WR- Paul Warfield/O.J. McDuffie/ Chris Chambers

RB- Mercury Morris/Ronnie Brown

TE- Randy McMichael

I will be doing a follow up post on the defense tomorrow. Thanks for reading. Let me know what you think.
