In 2009 our secondary faced the likes of Vincent Jackson, Randy Moss, T.O. (washed up version), Steve Smith, etc. Well hopefully they learned some valuable lessons because in 2010 they got another thing coming.

Notable receiving opponents in 2010

Minnesota Vikings:

  • Sidney Rice

After a couple of injury riddled season Rice finally tapped into his potential.

  • Percy Harvin

Harvin is an X-factor. He's a game breaker and a threat to score every time he gets the ball in his hands.

  • Visanthe Shiancoe

Shiancoe is another guy who benefited from the presence of Brett Farve. He became a vital part of the Vikings passing game. We've had our share of pass catching tight ends...smh

New York Jets:

  • Braylon Edwards

I know Braylon's hands are as reliable as expired condoms, but he is still a legitimate threat. In 08' Edwards had 3 100 yard games, all of which came in primetime games. And don't forget what he did to us in his debut with the Jets on Monday Night. So the fact that we play the Jets on Sunday night, we should just be on high alert for Mr. Edwards.

  • Dustin Keller

As one of the young rising tight ends in the league, He should benefit from the presence of Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards.

New England Patriots:

  • Randy Moss

Now as Dolphin fans we have come to be very familiar with Randy Moss, but his best may be yet to come. Moss is in the final year of his contract, and we all know how the Patriots aren't known to pay up so this could end up being an audition for another team. He recently hired a new agent, and is ready to get his last big contract.

  • Wes Welker

Now there are reports that Welker could be ready for week 1, but then again you really never know. Even if he does comeback we all know it take about a year to get back to your old self after having acl surgery. In case Welker is not able to play next season, they do have a clone in Julian Edleman who filled in admirably for Welker last season.

Green Bay Packers:

  • Greg Jennings

Simply one of the best in the league.

  • Donald Driver

Driver has had 1,000 yards receiving for the past 6 seasons, and He may be 35 but he shows no signs of slowing down.

  • Jermichael Finley

If you seen this kid in the playoffs last year you would know he's an up and comer.
