Report: Dolphins were contacted about a Crayton trade
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Patrick Crayton is probably going to end up getting cut before the start of the regular season. But before that, the Cowboys would like to at least explore the possibility of getting something for Crayton. According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins have been explored as a potential destination for Crayton. Per Jackson, the Dolphins were contacted about a Crayton trade. However, the contact apparently didn't go beyond gauging the Dolphins' interest. It seems unlikely that the Dolphins would trade for Crayton, and for that matter, given the $2 million he's slated to earn in 2010, it seems unlikely that the Cowboys would be able to trade him at all. Or to justify keeping him.
