Going Overboard!!!

Dez Byrant may be one of the most talent receivers in past years. He's a strong, big, physical, fast, ball hawking monster and hooked up with the arm of Chad Henne, he would provide a new dimension to the Miami Dolphin's offense. He also has punt returning abilities and would make an immediate impact on our team.

So why is everyone so concerned about his 'off the field issues' ? So what, he lied, I've lied, you've lied, we all do things we regret. But is that really going to keep us from taking the 3rd best player in the draft? Dan Marino, had or was thought to have had 'off the field issues' and he turned out to be without a question the best Quarterback of all time. So why does everyone go on and on and on about this 'off field stuff ' , when it is irrelevant ( at Bryant's level )? Vontae Davis had so called 'off the field issues' but he turned out to be the best cornerback of the 2009 Draft. Going one step further, we just signed Richie Incognito, a player that probably has more 'off the field ' issues than any other player in the NFL. So let's come up with real reasons not to get the best reciever in the draft and let's not go overboard about what he did in College because when it comes down to it, you can have the most well behaved players, but if they can't play it doesn't matter a hoot.
