Id rather have Tebow then White. But we will get nothing for White so.. its just wasting apick a this point I believe. We have Thiggy and CP10 now so its not worth wasting the pick on Tbow even if he is there in the 3rd.

OK Parcells loves Tebow

He probably also loves Mike Iupati (OG, Idaho)…but are we going to draft him? With all the hype Tebow is not going to last through round two….some team is going to take a chance on him…and it only takes one. We don’t want to spend a pick that high on a guy we have no use for.

Take Pat White out of the equation…we don’t need another QB…we have a starter who is 24. Tebow is only two years younger. Are we going to groom him for 12 yrs? We have CP10…who is the Yoda of NFL qbs to mentor said starter and we have the – for the time being – perfect back up in Tyler Thigpen…who is also Trade Bait.

We don’t need another qb (assuming Pat White never becomes one) for at least another two years…probably 4. Pennington is 34…his shoulder will last forever if all he has to do is carry a clipboard.

TT might well develop into a good NFL qb…Pat White might develop into a good 3rd down back/wr….we haven’t gone that route yet but it’s there and with CP’s return we’ve got roster issues.

I still believe the Jags take Tebow in Rd 1 or 2 if for no other reason than to fill seats

I would take him in round 3 if he was still there...

Why wouldn’t you? You aren’t paying a lot for him, he brings an option we don’t have (you know, a wildcat type QB who won’t get killed taking a hit), and all he is going to do is sit on the bench and develop either way. Why not take the chance?

But, do I think he will be there in round 3? No way.
