**Official Dolphins Undrafted Free Agents Thread**
Now that the draft is over, teams will sift through those who were left undrafted. So lets use this thread to update which players the Dolphins have signed as undrafted free agents.
That means please DO NOT make a separate post for any signings.
And if you find an article that says the Dolphins signed somebody, please include the link for proof. I will update this post as we get confirmed info of signings.
To make it easier for me, please USE ALL CAPS IN THE COMMENT if you have found a signing that has not been listed yet in this post.
Thanks.
And please "rec" this to keep it at the top.

Maybe Danario Alexander, Colin Peek or LeGarrette Blount?
I know Blount has had some problems, the Boise State Punch, but that aside he’s a pretty good running back.
Danario Alexander would be a good pickup
He’s not very fast, but he’s got some serious hands.
Chris Coghlan is NLRoY 2009 (that's a +1 for me!)
Can't wait for JJ or Nolly to win NL Cy Young 2010!
nope
word is he snubbed them, signing with baltimore

Someone needs to pick up Danario Alexander
I hope it’s the Dolphins, even if it’s just for moderate use like Hartline was last season. The guy makes plays.
We have a solid core of receivers now. Marshall makes EVEDRY RECEIVER on the phins better just being on the field.
Id like to see a real fast guy who can catch.. but Im ok with Marshall / Hartline / Bess / Camarillo as our receiver core.
Brandon Marshall, Brian Hartline, Devone Bess = The Killer B’sHenne is the QB of the Miami Dolphins.
Marshall, Hartline, Bess.. Now can we still go snag Bowe as well? Please? .
B Marshall + B Hartline D Bess = The Killer B's MPF 04/17/10
Aight 2nd day of draft done.. the 3Stooges are officially back.
Now's the time for the Offensive side of the ball.
Karlos Dansby (check)
Brandon Marshall (check)
C.J. Spiller (check baby, check baby 1,2,3!)

Looks like the internet wants to know where he ends up. Fans want this guy on their team, and no ones picked him up.
Oh i see, he had 4 knee surgeries in college
So he’s injury prone that explains his stats for his Freshman, sophomore and junior year, but there’s no doubt when healthy this kid could perform at a pro bowl level in the NFL. he led the nation in receiving yards this past season.

There is what is known and what is unknown and inbetween there are...undrafted free agents.
In did a little digging
Travis Ivey, DT, Maryland
6’4, 341 lbs.
That’s a big man. Size would seem to be the attraction.
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/564883
A.J. Wallace, CB, Penn State
6’1, 195 lbs.
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/archive/1117627?tag=pageRow;pageContainer
Good news…Bad news. JoePa says he’s a good player but apparently in Happy Valley you have to go to class every now and then…what’s with that?
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4398314
Jonathan Amaya, SS, Nevada
6’1, 203 lbs.
Played in the WAC so he saw a lot of balls in the air.
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1631257?tag=pageRow;pageContainer
Here’s video (no sound or graphics??) of his combine workout
http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-combine/09000d5d816dcbf1/2010-Combine-workout-Jonathon-Amaya
He was the fifth fastest safety at 4.53..Mays was first at 4.43
Ross Weaver, CB, Michigan St.
6’1, 208 lbs.
A senior captain…there’s a shocker…who was the Spartan’s nickel back for most of the year (????) and off and on starter for all four years he played
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1116872?tag=DraftTrackerRest;DraftTrackerRestData
Roberto Wallace, WR, San Diego St.
6’4, 223 lbs.
Looks like Brandon Marshall plays receiver like Leonard Marshall…bats down a lot of passes. Massive space-a-man Killed his testing…Top reps in the bench at the combine was 20..he did 19. Would have been in the top 10 in 5 out of 5 categories…then they started throwing balls to him…
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/563784
Vince Oghobaase, DT, Duke
6’5, 302 lbs.
(Pronounced oh-guh-BAH-see ) Big, raw athlete who showed flashes…first three weeks of last year averaged 7 tackles a game…than he got hurt…which slowed him down but didn’t force him off the field.
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/564835?tag=pageRow;pageContainer
Marlon Moore, WR, Fresno St.
6’1, 182 lbs.
Returns kicks 4.4 40…didn’t catch a lot of balls but averaged 21 yds a catch.
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/584448
Might be some diamonds in the rough here.

Moore
We need a kick returner, but how many WR will we carry next year?
I just can’t see us carrying 4 RBs and all those WR. Something will have to give.
Any chance Nalbone (or how his name is spelled) moves past Haynos on the TE depth chart?
It takes a man to suffer ignorance and smile
i doubt it
i believe haynos will be the future
Sam Madison THE GREAT
I'm riding with you Odrick. After all you ARE a Dolphin now! Reshad Jones!
Haynos was a good run blocker but we need a better
receiver so any upgrade over him would be appreciated. I think Nalbone is athletic enough, whether or not the NFL game clicks with him is another story.
Can you feel that? Ah...$***!
And, as always, screw the JETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Note to self: Read the fanshots!
wouldn't that be fasano?
i mean the man CAN catch and with Marshall now on the field I see him getting A LOT more touches

I look at Fasano and I see the second coming of Mark Bavaro...just wait.
Of course I don’t see in colour until the third cup of coffee…

It depends on whether or not he can return ti his '08 form or not
Otherwise we are wasting our time waiting for an elite TE. Our offense needs aTE that can run block and yet make great catches. I don’t know if our offense is going to change with the addition of a strong armed QB, a top 3 WR, and the development of a #2. We could go towards more of a spread and rely less on the TE, but I’m not that sure we are going to make a major offensive change.

i dunno...
i don’t wanna hate on John but, I thought he was just added for depth

What about Kory Sperry?
He seemed to have one good game then disappeared. Any chance he breaks out this year?
Free Agents?
I was looking through the unrestricted and restricted free agents available from other teams….. still a few good players out there….. Antoine Bethea, FS from the Colts is a restricted free agent…. Why haven’t they resigned him yet?
Blame Antrel Rolle for that 1
Bethea’s price went up big time

And about TO
I don’t care for the guy as a person, but he can still catch a ball….. I say get him for the depth…. A bad thought crossed my mind, God forbid, but if one of our receivers get hurt we’re in a bad spot. Right now TO has two choices…… shut up and catch a ball or stay unemployed.
Well, he's a known quantity to the FO.
If we do sign him it’s an informed decision…also if we don’t.

I'd do it just because it makes our team better
TO is still better than Hartline, Bess and Camarillo

Anybody know about the following guys?
Danario Alexander, Micah Johnson, and Malcolm Sheppard?
Touchdown, Ronnie Brown Edition!
Johnson was a third round prospect before his 4.99 40 yd dash

Note to self: Read the fanshots!
All three are still available
Apparently teams are waiting on Danario to recover, even though he’ll be ready for training camp. Micah is still available, but his knock is his slow 40 time and his arm tackling (won’t work in the NFL). Malcom Sheppard has plenty of others to compete with.
bitch looked awful clean on those screen's

As soon as he's healed, sign him!
And scratch Micah Johnson. He’s trying out with the Giants, so I heard.

Did anyone sign M. Johnson, LB Kentucky?
He is such an imposing figure; I would have loved it if Miami would have picked him in the 7th round. He definitely would have made the team. Would have developed fine on special teams. My opinion.
Here is a potential undrafted gem:

OTOH
Neither the Wonderlic nor anything else about the draft process has demonstrated any predictive value for NFL players.
Wonderlic calculation
Take score correct out of 50, multiply x2, add 60. That’s the formula to derive IQ from the Wonderlic. So in Ogho’s case… 122! Solidly above average but he did go to Duke so no big surprises there. 145-150 is considered genius range I believe.
Kyle Harrington!
UMass ftw!

Update on Alexander
Danario Alexander is not able to pass a physical due to his knee surgery this year, will not be able to sign a contract due to the physical, so he may not be able to be signed until closer to training camp.
Anybody know the status of Andre Dixon (RB-UConn)?
