Miami and Philly in discussion for the 12th pick

Per Rotoworld.com, the Dolphins and the eagles are discussing the 12th pick overall. They covet Earl Thomas, and if Berry goes to Washington, this will happen...

So what do you all think? I personally would do this in a heartbeat, and they may offer Smiley to sweeten the deal. Philly is in need of Offensive linemen, and a safety, so this trade might make sense. Too bad they couldn't give us Trent Cole, and the pick for the 12th overall...check it out and post your thoughts.

Report: Eagles, Fins discussing No. 12 pick

Updating a previous item, ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports the Eagles are talking to the Dolphins about trading up to No. 12 overall.
Sal Pal has strong ties to the Eagles organization, and he's stationed in Philadelphia on Thursday. His report, consistent with others coming out of Eagles camp, suggests the team is targeting Texas S Earl Thomas. Yup, I agree

twelve spots is far enough for us to be able to ask for that 37, however I think Miami would rather the 50 and maybe a late 3rd or 4th than just 37.

I’d rather have 37 given the talent that should be there. Hell, package that and a few late rounders to move up a bit and grab Cody or Hughes (if we didn’t take one already at 24).

I think Philly and Dallas want Earl Thomas. But, I want him for the Dolphins. If we do trade down, we better get a second round pick, too.
