PrintThe NFL Draft is just days away. So it's about time we know when and where the Dolphins will be playing their 16 regular season games.
Tonight at 7 pm eastern, the NFL will finally release the 2010 regular season schedule. They are having a release show on NFL Network. But to quickly check out Miami's schedule, just head to NFL.com at 7.
I will be on my way home from work as the schedule is announced. So feel free to discuss the schedule once it gets released in this thread. Please do not make other posts about the schedule. Keep the schedule discussion to this post. Once I get home, I will do a new post that includes Miami's 2010 schedule.

I was reading the Gang Green Post on JT and at the end it said
Jets and Dolphins on Monday Night Football to start the season was leaked earlier, well it just got a lot more interesting.
Now I know there was a rumor floating around about this earlier but he makes it sound like it was leaked today?

These teams are beatable
I do not see Miami losing to Pittsburgh,Minnesota,Green Bay,tHEY MAY LOSE ONE OF THEM BUT ALL OF THESE TEAMS ARE BEATABLE.iF OUR d PUTS PRESSURE ON fAVRE HE IS BOUND TO THROW 3-55 PICS.Green Bay and Pittsburgh are definately beatable.IF,IF! The phins play tough smart footbal I thing 12-4 is realistic.I just don’t understand the SOS,Miami has the 12th most difficult and the SUPER BOWL CHAMPION SAINTS HAVE THE 30TH…HUH?I think most of the playoff teams Indy,N.O,Minn,SD ALL have easier schedules.I believe it may be due to the weakness of thier own divisions Sooooooo ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?

will be key. I am not worried about the Bills. Then we have the Vikings in Minnesota. But we CANNOT lose back to back Jets and Pats either. I am glad those games are at home.

Thats not to bad IMO because the rookie adjustments at OLB NT FS after the 4 (big)game stint. Hopefully the rookies will make a push to start after the break then It’ll closely resemble a college season only 12 games from that point.

heres a season prediction by Dave Hyde
W, 1-0. Dolphins at Bills. Good opening draw for Dolphins. Buffalo is full of questions. (And thank God I don’t have to visit Orchard Park in December).
L, 1-1: Dolphins at Vikings – Tough place to play and Minnesota’s loaded with a long week to prepare after the previous Thursday opener.
W, 2-1: Jets at Dolphins. Jason Taylor’s return. From the view of April, I’m picking the Dolphins.
W,3-1: Patriots at Dolphins Same thinking as above. It’s at home, so I’m picking the Dolphins.
L, 4-2. Dolphins at Packers Tough place to play. Green Bay’s coming into its prime.
W, 5-2. Steelers at Dolphins. Will Ben Roethlisberger still be suspended?
W, 6-2. Dolphins at Bengals. The Jets exposed the Bengals in the playoffs.
L, 6-3. Dolphins at Ravens.You win some close ones, you lose some.
W, 7-3. Titans at Dolphins.The Titans’ finish last year makes this a tough one to predict in April.
W, 8-3. Bears at Dolphins. After last season, Jay Cutler has to prove he can win.
W, 9-3. Dolphins at Raiders. Can anyone predict Oakland wins anywhere?
W, 10-3. Browns at Dolphins, This finishes a cushy run in the schedule.
L, 10-4. Dolphins at Jets. These are equal teams entering the season with equal outlooks, from good, young quarterbacks to the Dolphins having the 17th-rated schedule and the Jets having the 18th. (Patriots have the sixth-rated schedule).
W, 11-4. Bills at Dolphins. Buffalo will end the season with more questions than they enter it.
L, 11-5. Dolphins at Patriots. Tough way to end the year, in the cold, at the Patriots.
Bottom-line: 11-5 should get you in the playoffs.

You know, I really don’t know where the Pats will come out this year. Everyone hypes the Jets but they will crash and burn I can feel it. Sanchez WILL be exposed this year (again IMO he was last year). But the Pats are hard to predict, have they been a little off their game or are they on the decline?
As much as I hate the Jets...
Don’t underestimate the Rex Ryan defense. We got really lucky in that second game last year, with 21 points coming off of returns. Our offense did nothing against them. They’ll be playing with a lot of confidence after making it to the AFC title game and are probably very solid on both sides of the ball.
I hope we can fill our major holes on defense and become at least decent…our offense should be very good. I’m bummed we didn’t pick up JT—I really can’t fathom why he’s not still a Dolphin, unless he was asking for way too much…
I'd say its fair
But we’re looking at these teams from how they looked last season. Last year’s lions could be this year’s lamb and vice versa. I’m not scared of the Vikings, can’t wait to see Long v. Allen, and we’ve beaten Favre before and we’ll beat any non-Farve except of course the mighty Sage. Green Bay doesn’t scare me either. Venue does not scare me. Sparano has stated he prefers to play on the road because it keeps the team more focused……

Call me a homer but our losses last year were close and we were in (almost) every game. We’re in a perfect under-the-radar position. I just want to see us own the beginning of the season for once!!!
