Davis was purely headstrong, nothing majorly overt
and alot of his “character issues” were guilt by association with his brother (who also overcame his “issues”.

i agree with the folks that were saying you are better off to trade your #1 pick for an established WR
rather than take the risk of drafting a bust.
But I am of the mindset that NEXT offseason would be the right time to do that. After we fill in the rest of the holes this year.

i am not for using out #1 on offense
and i would like to get your guard/tackle finster, but in the 2nd.
BUT, I think spiller is the safest O pick you can make outside of a lineman. He is a good football player, and will certainly be able to contribute, even if he ends up not being a full time HB.
