Most likely draft order picks

PrintI am just stating what I think the draft order will be. Who will get picked and y'all tell me what y'all think....
key to understanding my writing: first choice I would rather like too see / choice most likely too be there.....
Round 1
Derrick Morgan Defensive End GT / Jerry Hughes Defensive End TCU
Forget the need at nose tackle and the running game. Good pass rushers are iincredible hard to come by. especially in the later rounds of this draft or any draft. Parcels and Jeff Ireland has been very successfully in drafting nose tackles in later rounds and they know it so their confident they will draft a 3-4 nose tackle late...
The pass rushing core is very weak right now. As of March 22, 2010 5:05 a.m. the rush linebackers are Charlie Anderson, Brian Johnston, Quentin Moses, Erik Walden, and of course Cameron Wake. How many of y’all is hoping we re-sign Jason Taylor.
Round 2
Demaryius Thomas Wide Receiver GT / Arrelious Benn Wide Receiver Illinois
I hope in round 2 we go for a big time reciever to be the #1 guy. Bill isn't gonna draft a wide receiver in the 1st round but he'll mostly likely draft in the 2nd round. I personally like Demaryius Thomas ( size: 6-3, weight: 225, speed: conflicting reports for me too real sell this point 40: as low as 4. 38 to as high as 4.58, route running: below average but really wasn't asked to run routes in GT run attack offense but he'll go in a block a linebacker)
Arrelious Benn just reminds me of a mixture between anquan boldin, Hakeem Nicks, and heres the one that scares me braylon edwards ( drops ).
Round 3
Morgan Burnett Free Safety GT / Major Wright Free Safety UF ( GO GATORS)
Round 3 should be safety because we need a safety that can be a ball hawk, in all the meaning of the word. Morgan Burnett if he falls this deep I would love it. Most likely its gonna be Major Wright. He's a big hitter lights out I still remember the hit against that dude in the national championish against okalahoma. he reminds me of ryan clark for steelers ( remember that guy that played us like cheap date to get more money from steelers, I fell so violated, but I would have done the same too get more money so no hard feelings).
Round 4
Jimmy Graham Tight End UM / Dennis Pitta Tight End BYU
Dolphins looking for a pass catching tightend that can block. These are the two that come to mind that I heard the Dolphins were interested in. I personally wanted a Nose Tackle here but most likely there waiting till the 6th Round like they did last year i think, but hope they dont waiti to late that why i hope they trade any quaterback not named henne, I would rather want them to trade Pat White NEVER WANTED HIM IN THE 2ND ROUND TO HIGH FOR HIM.
Pat White for a 3rd or 4th round pick.
Round 6
6A: Jay Ross NT East Carolina
6B: Kade Weston NT Georgia
6C: Deji Karim RunningBacks Southern Illinois
I like this dude he's fast 4.37 40. quick cone drill and everything. He's looking like maurices jones drew. same height, speed, and athletic ability. the diss on him is a whole lot of red flags going up.
I think thats it for our picks. I think we traded away our 7th round picks and they didn't award compensary picks yet. I hope we get a high one like 3rd and 4th or trade a quarterback not named henne and a 6th round pick or a 7 th round pick but i swear we trade that one away.

People should also realize that while Parcells hit on Jason Ferguson he also drafted Rick Terry with the 31st pick in the draft that same year(round 2). The year they took Ratliff there really wasn’t that guy out there. This draft is full of NTs. Don’t expect the front office to sit around and wait until the 7th round to pick one of the most important needs we have this year.

They may pick OLB in the 1st round....
But they will not pick a WR or FS before a NT. There is a much better chance of picking up a quality WR or FS later in the draft than there is a chance of finding a late round NT that can step in and start on opening day. We picked up Chris Clemons last year and I think he will work his way into a starting role this year if we don’t go after OJ Atogwe. I think if we pick up Darren Sharper we will try to work him into the rotation to get him as much time as we can. I think we should try and get another FS in the later rounds though, maybe Myron Rolle. We missed out on one Rolle, but it would be nice to get the other one…

I read both your comments in you have interest to go back and look at the history of his drafts, but I’m also getting the feeling that your a skeptic of Bill Parcells………..
Oh ... also...
The year Parcells picked up Ratliff there were 0 notable DTs in the draft that year. That year they picked LB, DE, LB, RB(round 4), DE, S(round 6), OT, before picking Jay Ratliff in round 7. Since we have no real holes one our offensive line the only other place he could go with pick 1 is OLB or NT. The RB they picked up in round 4 btw was Marion Barber. I know the Spillwagon is not going to like this but:
1.) we do not have a need at RB this year
2.) If Parcells has skill at picking up NTs in later rounds, his skill at picking up WRs and RBs in later rounds is even better.

Trust me, I understand the love for this kid, but there’s absolutely, without a doubt, no way we draft him. He’s undersized, he does not fit the power running bill, and we have far greater defensive needs. All three of these go completely against what Bill Parcells IS.
My jaw would drop and stay on the floor the remainder of the draft if we ever took him at 12.

yeah if Hilliard has proven anything
it’s that he runs straight well. Not much else. But he can run straight and put his head down. Cobbs is a great guy to have on the roster but I don’t feel too comfortable giving him a heavy workload. I think Spiller and any random bruising downhill runner makes for a good-to-great combo.
