Without further ado...
I told several of you several weeks ago that I would soon share my thoughts on the draft. I just posted the reply below on the Big Blue View after dolfan0918 posted about it. So here it is, with more to come later.
Many of the things you guys have pointed out about Parcells is true of his history and reputation. He probably won’t draft a "project" like Pierre-Paul. He probably won’t give first round money to a finesse position, so that takes care of WR and S. We know he likes size so that removes any linebacker under 6’2" regardless of how fast his "motor" runs.
What we know for certain is that he likes guys that are "big and tall". Actually, before we signed Incognito I thought we might have gone after an OG in the first 4 or 5 rounds.
What we also can agree on is that he probably won’t draft BPA without regard to positional need. That leaves us with OLB and NT, in that order. For weeks and weeks and weeks I have been talking about Kindle and Cody. "I was country Cody……when country Cody wasn’t cooo-oool, yeah…..I was country Kindle…… when country Kindle wasn’t cool." (ring a bell?? think Barbara Mandrell……ok, I’m a dork)
Seriously though, both of these guys are good at doing the one thing we need from their respective positions. Kindle can pressure the QB while setting the edge and Cody can collapse the line while taking on multiple blocks. The rest of their development can be worked out between them and Mike Nolan. Don’t be too quick to rule out the possibility of us still taking McClain…stranger things have happened and he definitely is a solid player…but I doubt it.
so there you have it, our FIRST ROUND PICK…..
and our SECOND ROUND PICK........

I don't think Cody will be drafted by Parcells
He might like “big and tall” but he doesn’t like fat.

Derrick Morgan is who I think Parcells will pick. T. Cody if he is there in the Second.
I agree with you on OLB first and NT in the second. I’d be happy with most of the possible picks this year.

1. D. Morgan OLB/DE
2. T. Cody NT
3. R. Jones FS/SS
So you really don't think Parcells would pick JPP?

I think Kindle is too weak at the POA for Parcell's taste.
What Parcells likes more than Big and Tall, he likes strength and phsyicality. See Vontae Davis, Wilson (what he was supposed to be), Clemons, Bell, Polite (only 6 feet). So not all the kind of guys he likes are tall for the position or big. He likes his players strong and physical. It just so happens that big and tall tend to go hand in hand with that.

Kindle is only a pass rusher and will not do well he is more suited as a DE

My two favorite OLBs this year are Graham and Hughes.
Graham will most likely be available at 12 and Hughes might be available at 43, throw in a NT in the 3rd (Troup or Joseph) and Robert Johnson in the 4th and Id be a happy man. And Im just going to throw this out there, I think Mcclain would make a great SOLB, just a thought.

I'll like that or
1) Graham
2) Jones
3) Jimmy Graham
4) Jeff Owens

That would be good but Id rather stick with defense for the first 4 rounds
though I couldnt get mad at having Graham on the Phins. IDK enough about Owens but Ive heard good things, same with Jones. Guess I gotta look into these GA guys some more.

Im pretty sure that Jimmy is gonna be good and
Id like to have him stay in Miami but Id love two LBs, a NT and a FS in the first 4 rounds. If we could get some extra picks through trades Id definitely use them on offense though.
