Nothing about sports. The whole site is an advertisement for getting people to go to school to be a forensic science technician.

At the bottom you’ll see a list of articles similar to the one that the Phinsider and Mando is listed on. I’d say it’s a trick to get traffic driven to his site since all these articles seem extremely random and unrelated to forensic science.

All the articles are “top” lists. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re just taking the Alexa ratings and adding a little content.

How this person has any integrity based on that site is impossible. There’s no way to contact the site, no information on who runs the site and the article have no knowledge attached to the links. Example.

They write at #7 “Miami Dolphins in Depth – From the Miami Herald, this blog is written by Armando Salguero. He has been reporting about the Dolphins since 1990 and hosts a Dolphins show every weeknight called "The Ticket."”

His show isn’t called the Ticket, that’s the name of the station. But for someone just trying to throw down some BS to make it look credible it looks extremely similar to Mando’s “About” on the blog, see below.

Look at the nonsense they wrote for the Phinsider. “The Phinsider – Click here if you are a true follower of the Miami Dolphins. This community is devoted to the only NFL franchise known to have an undefeated team.”

What!? Their reference to the undefeated season sounds like there is a possibility someone else has had an undefeated season and the Dolphins are the only one “known” to have done it.

Just went through a few more and it’s exactly how I expected. Content taken from their “About” sections, some incorrect anyway and the rankings look to be based on Alexa rankings.

This is the equivalent of any random person building a top 100.

Mando was fooled into driving traffic to this person’s site just so he could brag. I wonder if this person who owns the site targeted Mando and pumped him up over being the only South Florida newspaper guy on the list.

The best part of all this is, of course, Phinsider getting a shout out (and acknowledgment from Salguero that we take shots at him for being a moron) .

The funniest part of all this is that Armando is thumping his chest about some bogus site and bragging about it. Thus proving he is, in fact, a monumental moron.

They’re too small for 1 or 7 day trending but they’ve jumped 70% in the last 30 days and 120% in the last 90 days.

They’ve been doing this for a while now and it’s showing. No way does a site called “Forensic Science Technician : Online Schools Guide” get a jump like that without some BS going on.

The best part is Mando claims it’s a Forensic Scientist Blog. If he had just looked at the site besides the BS page he was directed to he would have seen there is no one writing anything about Forensic Science. He would have seen that no one claims ownership of the site.

The level of someone’s ego never amazes me.

I’m actually surprised none of this registered with Mando but once again ego is very interesting. He really just wanted to rub it in the faces of the other South Florida newspaper blogs that he was the only one on the list. If he really wanted to brag then he should have tried to win the BOB awards.

Now that I think about it did they say Bun-Sentinel blogs couldn’t win? If they didn’t then it’s kind of sad that Omar didn’t get at least nominated.
