I've Got a Fever: We need more posts edition

So we've had some news to talk about lately, and between Chad Henne's comments about the second coming of Christ Tim Tebow, the rumors of Denver willing to take a 2nd rounder for Brandon Marshall, Richie Incognito signing, and whether we should or shouldn't take a NT with the 12th pick, we've had a lot to debate about. We've seen posts springing up like Nicky at the mention of Spiller. So you might be wondering what makes this post different then all those others? Well my fine Phin friends, the answer is quite simple. This post is going to have all of these topics together for one giant Celebrity Deathmatch style mega debate. Well, not really, but we were joking around in CKC that we should make another post about one of these topics because you can never have too many of them. Right? Guys? Beuller? Ok, fine then. Alright, before I get into things, here is this edition's recommended listening. This time, I'm going with something a little bit older than my previous recommended listenings. So let's get the main part of this out of the way now, and without further adieu:

Whew! I think I need a beer after all that. Anywho, enough with that jazz, let's get on to some more stuff shall we? The latest round of mock draft updates has come out and there has been a noticeable increase in the number of people predicting that we will take Dan Williams, Sergio Kindle, or Jason Pierre-Paul in the first round. As was pointed out by the illustrious and benevolent MattyI (Sucking up at it's finest right here folks! Take notes.), both nose tackle and outside linebacker are the safe bets this year for predicting which way the Dolphins are going to go. And since a lot of mockers are predicting that the top 2 safety prospects (Eric Berry and Earl Thomas) and wide receiver prospect (Dez Bryant) will be gone by pick 12, NT and OLB are not difficult conclusions to come to.

Of those 3 I think that Williams is definitely the best choice. The dude looks to be a beast and has passed Terrence Cody as the top NT prospect this year in most people's eyes. Taking him would be good as it would give him a year to learn from Soliai and Ferguson, but at the same time since we do have both of those guys this season, do we need to take a NT with our first pick? There are some good NT prospects that can be had in later rounds like Cam Thomas, who would still be able to learn from soliai and Ferg, and taking them would allow us to take a top prospect at another position that we may have a bigger need at.

Which brings me to the 2 OLB picks that seem to be growing in popularity. First let's look at Jason Pierre-Paul. I don't really think this guy will be a good pick for us. I look at him and I think that he will either be a one hit wonder that then fades into mediocrity, or he will be the next Vernon Gholston who just flat out busts completely. Then there is Sergio Kindle. Now, I do like Kindle and I think that he will be a solid OLB in the NFL, but I don't think that he is worthy of being taken with the #12 pick. In my opinion, I think there are better prospects that we could take at 12 for the OLB position, such as Jerry Hughes. A lot of mocks are also still projecting Kindle to be taken in the 2nd round, and I just think that taking him at 12th overall is too much of a reach for him. But after doing some research, I think I also have found yet another option for us to fill our OLB needs and wouldn't cost us a draft pick.

Yes, I do think I have found an answer for us. I'm talking about an absolute beast, a guy who has yet to be stopped, a guy who never misses his target, a guy whose motto is "When it's game time, it's pain time!!" And so now I present to you, the Phinsider faithful, our next big name at outside linebacker. You know him, you love him, he is Terry Tate, Office Linebacker!!

He would be a perfect fit for us at outside linebacker (Office LineBacker = OLB. Get it? Man I'm hilarious. How did I get to be so awesome?). He plays hard, he hits hard, he runs fast, he keeps going after his target until he gets him, what more could you want? If you don't believe me, check out this highligh reel:
