OLB-regional (Draft Bracket)
here are four areas of need for the FINS: NT, FS, WR, and OLB.
The FINS can address those needs respectively by using a first round pick for a particular player. Sometimes the player you want is selected by the teams before you so you go to the next player on your board at that position or you look at a totally different position.
I'd like to explore the possible draft scenarios in a March Madness Bracket style enumeration of the possibilities.
We have four regionals called the NT regional (nose tackle picked in the first round), the WR regional (WR chosen in first round), the FS regional (FS chosen in the first round), and the OLB regional (OLB chosen in the first round).
I will assume that once a OLB is picked in the first round, then the remaining 3 picks will be used to address the other areas of need. That means 6 possible ways to fill the remaining FS, NT, and WR.
Please vote on which combination of players is the best draft while addressing the four areas of need. The draft sequence of players that receives the most votes will WIN the regional and advance to the final four for the vote.
It is just a fun way to look at possible draft scenarios (For example, looking for a FS in the second round, but Nate Allen goes off the board...what do you do? Is it worth it to take Major Wright or go a different direction?)

I would take Pierre-Paul over both Graham and Kindle
I probably know Judo! How many of you can make the same boast?
Thanks for your input
I heard that Pierre-Paul is too stiff to be a 3-4 OLB. What have you learned?
1st: Earl Thomas S; 2nd: Lamarr Houston NT/DE; 3rd: Linval Joseph NT; 4th: Adrian Tracy OLB; 6A: Crezdon Butler CB; 6B: Deji Karim RB; 6C: Stevenson Sylvester ILB; 7A: Scott Long WR; 7B: Jameson Konz TE/WR/FS; UDFA: Bobby Sewall WR;
??? that he isn't

He is actually supposed to be the best DE convert in zone coverage
even has one INT doing so.
The only wisdom is the knowledge that you don't know.
And, as always, screw the JETS!!!!!!!!
Graham
I would say the best choices are between option 1 and 2. I like what Brandon Graham brings. He should definitely be above Kindle who I don’t think fits the 3-4 mold for a OLB. 1) Graham 2) Demaryius Thomas 3) Reshad Jones 4) Linval Joseph/Jeff Owens would be right up my alley.
Thomas isn't worth a second try Lafell
The only wisdom is the knowledge that you don't know.
And, as always, screw the JETS!!!!!!!!
Ceiling is not as high
Lafell is big but doesn’t have the quickness that Thomas does. Thomas may actually go in the 1st according to McShay. Tremendous upside.

But he will take four years because he is too raw
never make a reach on the type of player. Be fore the Combine he was a 3rd or 4th. and after a 2nd-3rd round. He’s a work out warrior that never had much pressure to perform in GT triple option offense. Meanwhile when Scott went down Lafell was the only real reason LSU could do any thing against Bama.
The only wisdom is the knowledge that you don't know.
And, as always, screw the JETS!!!!!!!!
Bottom Line
The Phins’ have enough WR’s that can’t get open. Lafell doesn’t have the quickness to release off of press coverage. He would not be a good solution and would take just as much time to develop.

did you just say that kindle doesn't fit the 3-4 mold..........??????????
do you really even know what you’re talking about or you just guessing……..??
Just one mans opinion...

Absolutely
He has good height but if you know anything about Parcells’ 3-4 he looks for bulk from his OLB. At 239, Kindle is on the light side. Parcells’ OLB is more like 250’s 260’s. Sure Kindle could bulk a little but he will not be able to take on NFL OT unless it is quite a bit more.

there doesnt need to be a wr
withinj the 4 picks, it is very unlikely one will be a phin after the draft happens.
3 new 2010 starting LBers via 2010 draft
Confidence breeds success, self-doubt breeds failure
no there doesn't...
but it certainly is worth it to look into what kind of value the FINS could get IF they spent one of the top four picks on a WR,
which is the purpose of this exercise.
After all, they spent a 2nd rounder (courtesy of Daniel Snyder) on Pat White who is a QB/WR/KR
1st: Earl Thomas S; 2nd: Lamarr Houston NT/DE; 3rd: Linval Joseph NT; 4th: Adrian Tracy OLB; 6A: Crezdon Butler CB; 6B: Deji Karim RB; 6C: Stevenson Sylvester ILB; 7A: Scott Long WR; 7B: Jameson Konz TE/WR/FS; UDFA: Bobby Sewall WR;
The only other person I think besides Spiller that should be drafted at 12 is JPP

Pilot of the CJ SPILLER cobra helicopter
IT SIMPLY IS ALL ABOUT U!!!

Damaryius Thomas in the 3rd round?
That’s pretty funny.

Damn I voted for the wrong option

Which option did you want?
In case of a tie or one vote lead, I need to know who makes it to the Big Final Four or the NIT Final Four (the 2nd place guys).
1st: Earl Thomas S; 2nd: Lamarr Houston NT/DE; 3rd: Linval Joseph NT; 4th: Adrian Tracy OLB; 6A: Crezdon Butler CB; 6B: Deji Karim RB; 6C: Stevenson Sylvester ILB; 7A: Scott Long WR; 7B: Jameson Konz TE/WR/FS; UDFA: Bobby Sewall WR;
Sergio Kindle OLB - Terrence Cody NT - Damaryius Thomas WR - Robert Johnson FS
I had voted for Brandon Graham OLB – Brandon LaFell WR – Linval Joseph NT – Darrell Stuckey
