here are four areas of need for the FINS: NT, FS, WR, and OLB.
The FINS can address those needs respectively by using a first round pick for a particular player. Sometimes the player you want is selected by the teams before you so you go to the next player on your board at that position or you look at a totally different position.
I'd like to explore the possible draft scenarios in a March Madness Bracket style enumeration of the possibilities.
We have four regionals called the NT regional (nose tackle picked in the first round), the WR regional (WR chosen in first round), the FS regional (FS chosen in the first round), and the OLB regional (OLB chosen in the first round).
I will assume that once a OLB is picked in the first round, then the remaining 3 picks will be used to address the other areas of need. That means 6 possible ways to fill the remaining FS, NT, and WR.
Please vote on which combination of players is the best draft while addressing the four areas of need. The draft sequence of players that receives the most votes will WIN the regional and advance to the final four for the vote.
It is just a fun way to look at possible draft scenarios (For example, looking for a FS in the second round, but Nate Allen goes off the board...what do you do? Is it worth it to take Major Wright or go a different direction?)
Poll
OLB-regional: Assuming the FINS take an OLB with the first pick, the best draft for the remaining picks would be...
Brandon Graham OLB - Cam Thomas NT - Rashad Jones FS - Marcus Easley WR (14 votes)
Sergio Kindle OLB - Terrence Cody NT - Damaryius Thomas WR - Robert Johnson FS (32 votes)
Brandon Graham OLB - Brandon LaFell WR - Linval Joseph NT - Darrell Stuckey FS (10 votes)
Sergio Kindle OLB - Damian Williams WR - Morgan Burnett FS - Kade Weston NT (1 vote)
Brandon Graham OLB - Nate Allen FS - Torrell Troup NT - Riley Cooper WR (9 votes)
Sergio Kindle OLB - Major Wright FS - Carlton Mitchell WR - Jay Ross NT (3 votes)
