Spiller and Benn score low on Wonderlic
Others scored lower but Spiller with a 10 and Benn with an 11 is pretty bad. After all this talk about specific sizes of players that the Trifecta looks for wouldn't it make more sense for them to pass on Spiller? He seems smaller then what they normally look for.
Either way I now lots of you have eyes on these two guys so remember, they're not the sharpest knives in the drawer.

Andre Johnson scored a 14
Chris Johnson got a 10 (then like a 24 or 25 later i think)
Adrian Peterson got a 16.
Not too worried about this, nothing to sound the alarms over.

14 is 40% higher than 10.
Which equates to 8 IQ points smarter… If Chris Johnson truly scored a 24 later, then none of your examples are very reassuring.

it isn’t football specific.

And i scored like in the 15-18 range
it wasn’t impressive compared to what the highest score can be.
Google it and try taking a sample version
its not all that easy

Marino himself
didn’t even break 20 on the wonderlic, so I’m not about to say no to a player based on that.
Spiller is undersized and in the NFL there’s really only one top notch guy – chris johnson – that’s near his build whereas basically every other good RB, is bigger. Spiller bandwagoneers oftentimes neglect to mention this :-)
And Ryan Fitz scored near perfect
hmmm, do I want Marino or Ryan Fitzp… lemme think about that for a sec….

lol I haven't failed to address his size
my stance has always been this: Worst-case scenario, he’s Reggie Bush, and I wouldn’t be mad if we had Reggie Bush, because he’s still dangerous on ST, catching passes out of the backfield, lined up in the slot, and running the ball in certain situations. My prediction, he’s on Chris Johnson’s level as a runner. Decent inside runner, insane in the open field. Best-case scenario, he’s Barry Sanders, and everyone’s head asplodes when he touches the ball.
I think he’s in between Johnson and Bush, much closer to Johnson.

Marino scored a 13 and Farve was also somewhere in the teens. I don't think either one of
those guys are considered unintelligent. Some people just suck at those kinds of test. Its obvious to me that reaction to a standardized test in no way translates to the football field.

Its a much longer list than that. A ton of guys scored poorly and went on to good/great careers.
It should also be noted that this test is considered much, much more important for positions like QB and ILB than RB.

I couldn't care less about a RB's wonderlic score
As long as the guy understands when the QB puts the ball in his gut, he needs to run, I don’t care if it is Frrest Gump.
Maybe for QB, Safety, LB, a high wonderlic score would be nice (yes, I know Marino’s wasn’t that high), but I still think it’s overrated.
