2010 Draft Wishlists

PrintI would like this post to serve as a place where we can share our wishlists for the #12 pick. As we update our lists we can simply reply to our previous list. Here is my current top 10 wishlist:
1. DT Ndamukong Suh, Nebraska - Won't drop to 12 but I feel obligated to put this monster at #1
2. DT Gerald McCoy, Oklahoma - Same as above
3. S Eric Berry, Tennessee - Very small chance of dropping, but more likely than people think!
4. WR Dez Bryant, Oklahoma State - Dez is a top 5 talent, and is the #1 WR the Dolphins truly need. I think his character concerns are being blown way out of proportion
5. FS Earl Thomas, Texas - Ball-hawking safety with great coverage skills. Finally someone to prevent long pass plays and cover TEs!
6. RB CJ Spiller, Clemson - There's nothing more I can say that the Spiller Bandwagon hasn't already said. And if there's a chance that Ricky could be traded before this season begins then this pick makes even more sense.
7. DT Dan Williams, Tennessee - Not as sexy as the guys above, but would be the perfect fit at NT in a 3-4.
8. OLB Sergio Kindle, Texas - Versatile LB that would add some youth and athleticism to our LB corps. May be the most NFL ready OLB in the draft.
9. OLB/DE Brandon Graham, Michigan - Could be a beastly OLB. Perhaps the best OLB prospect at defending the run.
10. OLB/DE Jason Pierre-Paul, USF - Extremely athletic but very raw. Seems like the prototypical Parcells OLB if he can be coached up.

And please keep in mind that this is a ranking of who we would like to be drafted at #12, not who we think the front office will draft.

I know not everyone agrees with me on this one but he can cover a TE or RB like a CB and he is a vocal leader on the defensive side of the ball. Maybe we trade down to pick 20 or so to get him but I wouldn’t care if we used the #12 on him. With him and Dansby in coverage we can erase those images of Dallas Clark, Tony Gonzalez, and others burning us game after game. Put Wake rushing the passer and Spoon in coverage and its a beautiful thing!
Does a "well done" count the same as a "well said?"

I really like Weatherspoon
He’s actually #11 on my list, but I feel like he would be a bit of a reach at #12. Then again, all those OLBs are pretty close in my opinion.

or Dan above him. I really wish it was possible that Dan could fall to rd 2, but that’s impossible.

I think there's a good chance Earl Thomas will be there
but Dez is sort of a mystery
aside from Suh & Berry i could see most being there
it’s an O-Line rich draft, and a lot of the teams before us need that. if seattle steals spiller, so help me…

McCoy is good ... but...
I don’t think he is a NT… he would be a DE in a 3-4… Suh could probably do either one … so….
I made a post a while back pushing for us to move up and get one of them....
People made good points though… DT is something totally different from NT….
