Everyone Knows we need a number 1 receiver. Many dolphin fans love the idea of seeing somebody like Brandon Marshall in a dolphins uniform yet those same people are opposed to Dez Bryant. Brandon Marshall to miami will never happen and our best possibility of getting a #1 is Dez Bryant. You've seen the articles written about him... and Those who are opposed to Bryant claim he is a "diva", troublemaker, distraction, and overall bad guy that you don't want on your team. Everything you have heard or read that portrayed him in a negative light were strictly rumor from people who don't even know Dez. I heard from Dez's mouth that he's never been late to a game or practice. Remember Vontae Davis? he had top ten ability and physical tools but rumors around the league surrounding his benching was that he was a Prima Donna..well it worked out for us because he fell all the way to 25.
Dez is young so immaturity will be there but dont get it mistaken the kid is not a criminal and does not have a rap sheet. The same cant be said for Marshall. Marshall is a incident away from a big time suspension which explains why no NFL team is quick to pull the trigger on him. For what you have to invest in a marshall he is a high risk, high reward player at this moment . Not saying Marshall wont change his ways but for a first round pick and a HUGE contract thats not a risk im willing to take.

Dez said it himself that the teams walk together as a TEAM to the stadium and that hes never been late for a game or practice.

i will say, even age aside, Ricky was fantastic last year, especially for not having a tag team partner
when you think about how injury ridden we were last season, it cushions the fact we actually could have had a wildcard spot.

Dont get me wrong. I think Ricky is still great at time but hes not able to shoulder the
whole load on his own any-longer. I dont know that hes lost his speed or his burst most of the time but he sure looked tired at the end of last year.

yea he was supposedly really good in college
and before the draft last year he was considered an under the radar version of Bush. He was 2nd fastest in the 2009 draft with a 4.39. But then again lately a lot of people have been saying that about a lot RB.

id much rather take spiller or berry if they are their at 12.
i feel we can find a nt/olb/fs later in the draft then at 12.
the only thing that annoys me about taking bryant at 12 is, though he has potential to be a top 10-15 receiver in the league we could trade the pick for marshall and get a guaranteed top 5 reciever, ALREADY PROVEN, in the league.
