Trying to understand prospecting Incognito.
I was thinking about this last night…. go easy on me guys, I’m just trying to understand prospecting a guy such as Richie Incognito while our needs are else where. We all know by now what those needs are. Incognito is a very tough and “mean” guy for an offensive linemen. Would it be possible to train him up at the Nose Tackle position, possibly converting him over and use his size and pure strength on the Defensive Line?

True
Yea, you are right on that one….. with Long on the other side…. Human wall… I’m sure our staff will have a word with him about a time and place for dirty play.
nah no way
thats like telling ted ginn to go corner cause his fast and quick (and can’t catch a cold).

I love this guy
and he’ll make our running game a whole lot better. God forbid we sign someone who is intimidating, and has a reputation for having a mean streak. This is the NFL. If we sign him—I’ll be the first person to buy a Richie Incognito Jersey.
LOL; just how does he match up when playin ny jits????

Thanks.
I’m not sure if he has ever played against the (J.E.T.S) Jets.
Thanks for your reply, although, I’m not really sure what the( J.E.T.S) jets have to do with it.
(Please note that the word “jets” doesn’t have an “I” in it)

I believe he was being sarcastic or funny with the word Jits
He probably meant that the (J.E.T.S) are J.I.T.S as in short little punks.

Yea, I didn’t get it at first. I just have a strong dislike of the Jrags (JETS, jits). As I’m sure most of us do. I apologize WZB. At first I thought you were a jet fan, LOL. I’m the new guy here. Try to cut me a little slack.

At this point it is more of a pride thing. Hoping for an excellent off-season that shows the coaches and fans that they can be wrong about Henne. But like I said it’s more of a pride thing at this point, I’m not dropping it till the start of the regular season.

I hope you meant wrong about Thigpen.. I think EVERYBODY wants the coaches to be right about Henne, unless you have the over in a “+-15 crappy Miami QB’s since Marino” prop bet lol.

Read on nfl.com today that Seattle is after Spiller in the first. He may never make it to 12.

True we need a nt,fs,olb, and wr but really who is left in fa we tried for Rolle can’t fault us but are we going to overpay,Sharper is injured and comming of sugery and Atogwe is well we would have to wait until June and why risk that, now if we do the right thing in the draft I say we could fill 3 of these holes with solid guys,as for bringing in Incognito can’t hurt won’t break the bank and can be an answer to this on going battle for the rg spot

True.
I don’t think he will break the bank as you said. I’m not sure too many other teams will be interested in him due to his “on the field” manners. If we sign him, I’m sure he will over take the right side. Do you think our major priority should be an OLB or a Safety in the 12 spot?

i'm up for a swap with the cardinals we get this year's 3rd round pick & next years 1st.rd pick!
1st rd. draft picks, we won’t be this high in the draft again for at least 20 years! maybe swap 4th rd. picks as well take an extra 5th & next years 3rd. although i don’t see them in the top three, next year. i do see them in the top 5 or 6. brothers thats starting to look real good to me!!!

WZB, have we heard of trading draft spots with the Cards? I’ve heard of people making comments about trading down… is that what you mean?
