But I guess its only fitting that you dont mention class with anything that has to do with the JETS. There were a few choice words that came out of the mouth of Channing last year.....cause Lord knows, nothing ever comes out of Ryans mouth- only in!!! What a J-O-K-E joke joke joke!!

Pretty Typical of Dolphin Fans - Classless and Downright Disrespectful
Seriously guys. The man had surgery so he can live to see his grandkids. Do you want to really put a man down for that? Its getting old man. Get over your 09 series sweep. We made it to the AFC game, and were moving on. You were so close to 0-16 not 2 years ago. I can go on an on, but I dont want to be redundant.
You don’t see Patriots fans doing this. Or Bills fans. Or other division rivals across the leauge putting down other players or coaches for their weight, race, religion, shoe size, whatever. When Rex talks like he does to the media, he expresses confidence in the Jets organization. He has never, not ONCE, been disrespectful. He is friends with Channing Crowder’s mom for crying out loud. He makes fun of his own weight and shortcomings.
But its obvious Rex’s weight has become a real issue to him, and he is taking pretty drastic measures to solve it. No surgery is “minor” to the person having surgery. Has his health been at the top of his priorities over the past few years? I don’t know the man, but I would doubt it to say the least. But at least he recognizes his problems and is taking steps to solve it.
Rex isn’t classless. I would like to hear one word that he said that was classless. (Channing Crowder doesn’t count, if you have a bone of sarcasm in your body, you would know they were joking) He is about as nice of a guy you would ever meet. Thats why our Jets love playing for him. Thats why Jim Leonard took a multi-million dollar pay cut to stay with the Jets. Its why we just signed LT. Its why Darren Sharper wants to be a Jet. I can’t name too many players saying “Boy, I would just love to play for the Dolphins.” Or any other team for that matter.
At least DRoyce is representing his fan base well. Good luck completing passes this season. You’re going to need it.
Well, if you want to get technical about things,
no, there isn’t anything wrong with a guy wanting to better his health in order to be able to spend more time with his family. Even if it is Rex, whom I strongly dislike for my own reasons, it is a commendable thing to do to try and take control of his issues.
As for Rex saying anything classless, after the first game this past year Rex and Bart Scott (and I believe Calvin Pace but I can’t remember for sure) went to the media immediately after and made a big stink about the Wildcat formation. Scott went as far as to say that the Wildcat was basically cheating and shouldn’t be allowed in the NFL. Rex followed that up with saying that the Dolphins couldn’t beat the Jets without resorting to “gimmicks” and “trickery”. To us that was very disrespectful as he would not admit that we beat you legitimately.
As for the fans on these blogs, every team has its fans that act like that, our team has them, your team has them, every team has them. In fact, I personally went over to GGN before the first game to do a Q&A session with you guys like we had done with every other team, and was immediately met with 5 or 6 posters telling me to “Get the f*ck off of your site and never post there again.” Then they continued to hurl insults and would not answer any of the questions or do a friendly Q&A.
Also, one of our posters on here received an email from one of your guys over there that threatened him and told him that if he found out where he lived he would beat up his children and rape his wife. I am not kidding about that. When that was brought up over at GGN, we were told that we should just get over it and some even said he probably deserved it. It was because of incidents like that and the lack of civility displayed to us by many Jets fans that led to some of our members responding in kind, which led to what it is now.
