When a player "interviews",
could someone give me some insight about this? Is it an informal meeting? I read Idaho Guard Mike Iupati had 20 interviews on his pro day. So what happens? Is it on the field? Behind closed doors? And, if anyone knows, are the questions in the general area of what you or I would get at our job interviews? I would assume that the teams wishes to know as much as possible about the personal aspect of the player. Would appreciate the procedure of this event. Thanking you all in advance for your assistance.

The interviews
Happen at the combine, and after. Although the combine interviews are generally shorter and more intense. They don’t ask a whole lot of pleasantries, as they don’t have a lot of time. Typically they throw out scenarios and ask a the player to diagnose the play, how they would react/cover etc, they might show some diagrams of other plays and have the player identify the play etc.
The interviews are used to judge a players football knowledge at the next level. They also might ask some hard questions if the player has any “character concerns” or what not.
The interviews take place many times in hotel rooms, and other times in conference rooms.
Thats about all I know.
If this post contains no substance, just assume that my answer is Brandon Marshall. Pay the 1st and 3rd, get the proven guy, and don't worry about that position for the next decade.
