The way those two act is hilarious. Who knows what Miami was offering Rolle, but obviously it wasn’t the ridiculous amount that the Giants were offering to make him the richest safety in the league. Honestly, when talking about top safeties in the league, Polumalu, Reed, Sharper, etc, Rolle never even crosses my mind. I’m glad we didn’t get him. I would have only felt okay about a Rolle signing if he got a contract similar to Gerbil or less.

Rolle was WAY overpayed
and Clarks agent said “There was money left on the table” meaning Miami offered more than Pittsburgh but he(Clark) chose to take less so I don’t see how Miami can be accused of being cheap.

i heard Miami offered a 1 year deal while Pitt offered 3
so he still would have gotten more money from Pitt and the added security in the years
