Best of luck to him. Although i am much happier with the decision to keep Lex last year i like Brandon alot and hope he does well. Thats an awfully crowded WR corp but i hope he gets an oppurtunity that he couldn't get with us. Im sure he will fit well with the organization... Seeing his name pop up actually is pretty exciting, i wonder what training camp guy we will all fall in love with this year that will replace the phinsiders beloved brandon london!

with that,they are most likely not going to sign bryant,
I know Parcells doesnt like him all too much,but he wont have to deal with him as much,and he is a proven talent. Hes had two really good seasons,which is more than i can say for any of our current crop,wont want as much as say Boldin,or even Brandon. Pittsbugh looks to have alot of talent going to free agency,im thinking we should raid their coffers,sign Hampton,Parker,and Bryant. Maybe offer them Ronnie for a second and fifth. I like the sound of this. Not to mention,send porter,camarillo and one of our tight ends to houston for daniels. Our offense gets an upgrade,we open up our reciever spot,and get rid of porter,without using a draft pick,and we can focus all of our attention to d,and perhaps mcluster in 3

I think it was more than the blatant lack of disrespect shown by Bryant.
I was simply pointing out that he hated him. The reason why does not really matter in the end if he does not want him on his team. He once got rid of him for nothing so I don’t see him going after him now. Besides hes not what we need. We need a number one receiver.

lol we kinda talked ourselves into him
he’s got a nice skill set. The thinking was, if he could take his skills as a gunner (quickness, ability to beat the jam, speed to get down the field) with what little we saw of him at WR (good hands, big body, aggressive blocker) than he could be special. Apparently he wasn’t able to do that, although I think he would’ve helped the team a hell of a lot more than Patrick Turner did.

Hey all,
I’m a Steeler fan and was hoping to get some indication from you all about what to expect, if anything, from this London guy. From this thread so far, he sounds like a lot of hype that didn’t get any playing time.

Thats about it. I think in the end he was out but it was a numbers game. Theres still some promise there.

But why did the team, not resign him last year?
You know better than I do that they don’t let anyone get to the final year of their contract if they plan on keeping them, so why would you think its different with Holmes?
