Around SBN: Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire Vow To Fit In With Lin

Its a Wrap

Joey porter was on nfl Gameday morning and pretty much says what we already knew but in that process i feel he really disrespected some of his teammates especially Cam Wake to be honest with you Joeys just washed up and i hope somebody out there is willing to give up a second for him. It might sound crazy but nobody thought we would get a second for taylor, so we just gotta be patient.

Star-divide

Here is the Link   and good ridence  Joey Porter and i came up with an idea that would send crowder and porter for a second rounder but in order for that to happen we must sign dansby because we need a vet to do the play calls for defense.

DO NOT TRADE CROWDER!

He is a beast and I think he will turn some heads this season and make the pro bowl. Thats right IM calling it now, Mike Nolan will help Crowder get to a Pro bowl.

I kinda like Crowder. I would like to keep him, but wouldn’t be too upset seeing him go. If Crowder does leave that leaves a MAJOR hole a MLB for next year. It’s just not worth letting him go right now. He also does have pretty good potential to be a solid MLB, not a superstar, but a guy you can rely on.

if he stays healthy

ofcourse hes good player but hes cant stay healthy and really doesnt make game changing plays

pro bowl caliber..when you look at pro bowl inside lbs in the leauge right now patrick willis, ray lewis(even at 34), jon beason, demeco ryans, jonathan Vilma, channing doesnt fall in hes solid at best

agreed

channing is exactly what you should call a “solid player.” he makes most of the average plays, but not many of the “big” plays. he’s done a decent job for us, but i wouldn’t hesitate to trade him for the right deal.

Crowder isn't acting like someone that wants to be here

The day after he went on the radio with Porter he said that he had a conversation with Sparano before he just went on the air. He said the day before with JP didn’t come up so he assumed all was fine. Not so fast.

If Sparano were to tell him at that point that he wasn’t happy with him associating with JP then he risked Crowder taking it the wrong way and destroying his trade value. In this situation Channing was told to cool it down a bit but ultimately do what you want. Now when he’s traded the other team won’t have the benefit of using a pissed off Crowder to their advantage in trade talks.

I’m surprised we haven’t heard anything yet about JP getting locked out of the facility yet.

I can see were he is coming from as a player. But, he is wrong on how he has approached this whole situation. He definitely need's to be traded or cut, like yesturday.

I’m sure if we give him the bonus so we can trade him, there will be somebody that still wants him. I bet even Buffalo or Oakland maybe even St. Louis would do it. There are plenty of teams that need a veteran LB, that would be willing to trade for Porter. At this point I’ll give whatever somebody offers for him.

If you can get a 2nd......HELL YEAH you trade 'em

Dump the salaries for the two of them and sign Dansby (dump Gerbil for some cash relief too, and cuz he sucks) then use the extra 2nd to pick up a top OLB to replace Porter (in case Wake doesn’t progress as well as hoped. 3 Picks in the first 2 rounds of this draft would be like having 3 picks in the first round of most other drafts. Just a stacked talent pool in this years draft.

In Case You come here before the 2010 Mock Draft Post

Let’s look at this on the statistical level
Since 1970
NY JEST
0 Super Bowl Appearances
3 AFC Championship LOSSES
1 AFC Title Lost to the South Florida Team
2 Super Bowl Titles Won by the South Florida Team that beat them

CHICAGO CUBBIES
0 World Series Appearances
3 NL Championship Series LOSSES
1 NL Championship Lost to the South Florida Team
2 World Series Titles Won by the South Florida team that beat them

Now do you get where I am coming from? Sorry that it is insulting but it is what it is.

At least the Cubbies don’t have some overweight big mouth running their team that only knows what its like to get close but not win (with a different team) the big one. Wait, have you guys already fired Dusty Baker or is he still in charge??? Give Rex a few more years and then the Jest might bring in a coach who knows how to win Like Piniella. Hold on! Piniella just as bipolar as Ryan is! +1 to the comparison.

The prosection Rests.

"You r a prick" & yes there record's are ideniclose but consider this baseball goes through

many more games in three different changes acure spring, summer, fall, ive acctully seen it snow at the beginning of the season & again at the end of the season.
ps. i can’t help it if the jets were on there period, when they played for the afc championship [ when the cub’s played the giants back in the 90’s the whole friggen team was on stroids!!!

by wild zion beaver on Feb 8, 2010 1:57 PM EST up reply actions

Language! Children Might be Present!

Just Kidding. I’m sure worse has been said here. By your own admission the records are “ideniclose” (??) and that’s all I am saying. Just cuz you don’t like it doesn’t make it any less true. The day will come when the Cubbies break through and win the world series and seperate themselves from the JEST and I swear I will never post with that signature after that day. I could make a joke about a cubs series win and signs of the apocalypse but I will refrain from such low blows here.
You ‘ve seen snow at the beginning and end of the season? Cool. Not in any way relevant, but cool.
You can’t help it if the Jets were on their period??? That sounds rather offensive to women sir. I personally know several women who are more masculine than Mark Sanchez and a couple that hold their liquor better than Joe Namath but that really has no bearing here. Again, this isn’t about YOU. All I said was that the NYJEST are the NFL’s VERSION of the CUBS. Meaning they get close but always seem to come up short. If you can’t live with that then you need to start cheering a new team (102 years of not winning the big one is hard to deal with but don’t take it out on me). That does not make them the equal of, or identical twin to, the Jets. Now go calm down before I start calling you unwarranted names. I can only pray to God that the Jets go 102 years without winning a super bowl. Maybe Favre will have retired by then.
I have told many people that the best fans in the world are in the dawg pound in Cleveland and in the seats @ Wrigley. I mean Good God, if Steve Bartmann had done the same thing as a Phillies fan, they would have crucified him during the between innings break and only would have been kept from setting him on fire by not wanting to scorth the grass of risk catching the ivy on fire. Your passions is admirable but don’t let it get the better of you.

agreed my smack was returned with gile, as a sporting event goes i supose.

And you can say that the jet’s, are the beter for haveing won a SB in 69. which by right’s is less then twice over shorter time 41, years then the cubbies 102. Sometime’s what u consider passion, is honestly adeeply placed orgasium-that need’s to escape! So much for so little for so long my cubbies which my g’pa dearly loved took so much flack for ever it seemed sory to vent & it shan’t happen agian.

Would you give up your 2nd round pick for Porter if he wasn’t on our team? Your 3rd? Your 4th? anything? then why would someone else?
