Interesting Porter vs. Wake Comparison
Joey Porter might want to take that comment he made about Cameron Wake back. Stats don't lie.
Speaking of Wake, look at these numbers! He ranks among the top 5 in the NFL in rushing the passer! Thats nasty!

I can't wait to see Wake in Nolan's defense.
He’ll be amazing…and hopefully win Defensive MVP next year. I’m getting ahead of myself aren’t I?
For as many snaps as he got, that’s some great #’s.

Perhaps Wake is similar to Dumerville (not in size but skill)
Although I would like to think he would be better against the run than Dumerville, their “first” seasons in the NFL can draw some comparison. Dumerville saw little playing time early, but altogether played in 13 games and got 8.5 sacks (in a 4-3 situation). Wake didn’t have a big splash early, but quickly showed why we signed him, playing sparingly but racking up 7.5 sacks (generally when playing in a 4-3 rush situation, when the OLB plays with his hand down).
Plus we all know what Dumerville did when Nolan got there
i agree, but i prefer dumerville
he is younger…..
or both, lol
