Joey Porter has been a cancer to this team for a good bit of the season obviously.  He has become more public in his complaints about the Dolphins the past 2 days.  Yesterday, I was like... you don't want to be here... Fine... get lost ... we don't need you.  After 2 days though my mind is changing.  If we cut him, we give him exactly what he wants.  We already have to pay him the $1mil bonus in March because it is guaranteed.  I say, unless we get a good trade offer we keep him.  Let him cry.  When the season starts he is number 53 on our roster.  We don't dress him for one single game.  We don't dress every single player, anyway.  We let him ride the pine and we pay him to do it.  Are we wasting salary cap space--sure.  But we make a statement with him. 

If we do go after someone like a Brandon Marshall then, at least we can show them how we play with a temper tantrum throwing child.  What he wants is for us to cut him so that he can go to some other team and have Porter's House somewhere else.  What he wants is to be the center of attention and it is clear he wants out because he is no longer the center of attention. 

If we do make the Super Bowl this year we cut him during Super Bowl week or some other time and we make it really public.  Will he get a ring if we cut him before the Super Bowl???
