Which WR goes?
We can all agree an upgrade is called for at WR. Whether we get that done this offseason is yet to be seen but the need is obvious.
In the case that we trade, sign or draft someone that can make it to the gameday roster then someone will need to go. Let's put circles around Bess and Hartline and remove them from the options. That leaves us with Ginn, Camarillo, and Turner. We also have Ryan Grice-Mullen, Julius Pruitt and Taurus Johnson but they're no more than camp competition.
For me I'm looking at Ireland's comments yesterday and saying that he's set on at least giving Turner the camp to prove his worth and offseason progress. I think Ginn is valuable if not under-appreciated. Ask him to do less and he'll do it better. That leaves me with Camarillo at the age of 28 with 100% catches last year. Hard to move him but looking at the two guys I've got circled I see that I stumbled upon a 4th round pick that is really working out. Hartline is too similar to Cam to not give the reps to Hartline.
We're probably lucking out in the fact that Cam is desirable to other teams. A year ago that wasn't the case at this time. I'm curious about how much all of you agree.

We may be surprised by
Grice-Mullen. He seems like a good return man.
But the other two are gone, maybe. It’s really too early to tell. Maybe Turner.

All of them goes to Trainning Camp
If Turner is not able to get game time he is gone.
If someone shows interest in Cam lets say a 3rd or earle 4th, he is gone, same for Ginn.
But I think at least until trainning camp all of them remains dolphins.
I guess my problem with that is waiting for the compensation
If we follow that map the pick we get for whoever goes won’t until next season.
I’d much rather flip that value now and upgrade the position but I see where your coming from. If that’s the case and we don’t address the position then I’d imagine they’re really drunk on Pat Turner and they’re really been molding and educating him this entire time.

If they don't want to release Gibril, why would they release Turner.
The FO sepnt a 3rd round pick they will give the guy the most chances they can we like it or not and the same applies to all the other guys.
Thats exactly what I said
or even porter, but cam has to go to let turner mature just like porter leaving for wake…why would we just release him when we can trade him to a team like arizona who is going to loose dansby. we need to stack draft picks like the patriots did.
let's trade him so we dont haft to cut him later!!!

age, potential
I think it’s safe to say Cam reached his ceiling last season. I just don’t see him having a better season. It’s too early to chop Turner and Ginn provides kick returning as well as a deep threat that Dan the Man says is important. Look at Ginn in the sense that attention is needed regardless of him catching the ball.

he is still in his prime, he is one of those players that you can have for a long time that you can always count on to make catches

I think whoever F#@$ up in training camp is gone it could be whover out of those you mentioned
and at least one of those receivers like Pruitt and Grice are going to stay.

Idk
before he was with the lions, taurus johnson was an unrestricted signing by pioli and co. Seems to me,both would or could be practice squad material. Grice mullen may end up neing the odd man out,and may have just been added to try and give ginn a lil push to show up.
Needless to say,cam does seem the odd man out,and maybe we would do good to add aq,at least try to get some mentorship for our big guys, who knows, mebbe even some continuity, and in a way, signing aq could have a longer lasting impression than we percieve.

I think Q has 3-4 years left that he's #1 if healthy
and maybe 2-3 years past that point where he can contribute.
Who knows but I do know he’s not past his prime just yet.

But what im saying is
if he can kind of do with the bigger additions in the form of leadership, and they can do with him like will allen did with smith and davis,we may see a longetivety at our number one recievers position.
Longer than just the 2-3 years wed see,if it was just aq

And if im not mistaken
cant turner be plaed on the practice squad as well? If he doesnt show promise, hes a goner,no need to keep wilford jr around

I doubt he'd pass through waivers
especially with Pete Carroll in Seattle now. Hmmm, maybe Pete overpays for him and refunds us that 3rd…I can always dream.

IT'S PRETTY SIMPLE...........
if no one comes in, then no one goes out……………
Just one mans opinion...
Actually, I've been reading about Pruitt.
He was a draft sleeper last year, and, us and the Chiefs, were the only ones interested in him.
From what i’ve read, he has potential. He could be the Lex Hilliard story this year.
