All I hear on this site is we need to fire Henning, Sparano, we need to get rid of Henne, Brown and Fasano. etc, etc etc...
An NFL football team is like a high performance race car. Making very small changes in the right places can win you the race or lose you the race. A perfect example of this were our interior lineman Grove and Smiley. Last year we had a great running team behind our Offensive line but because we thought they under performed their salary we cut 3 of the 5 Offensive lineman we had last year. Well look where we are today... only dreaming about what life would be like if we had the Offensive line from last year. If we had kept them we would have had great depth and we would have been able to withstand the barrage of injuries we had this year.
So next time you want to get rid of someone think about who will we replace them with and keep in mind we only have limited draft choices and free agents are expensive alternatives.
I propose that we concentrate on improving the offensive line, pick up a 1st round QB (if it's not a reach) and trying to bring in a WR with speed and returning capability. Also find an offensive coordinator that is up and coming.
Yes we keep Henne, Brown, Harline, Fasano, Crowder until such time as they fall off the depth chart or cost too much keep around.
