In my opinion the final four games will tell the story on Henne as a long term QB. Personally I have already decided on him. I have watched a lot of Football since 1969 and you can tell if someone has IT. This is not hate, it is not a personal thing against Henne at all. He is a good kid. What we are talking about is whether he really is Franchise QB material or not. I have read all the posts making the comparison with Brees, Young, Aikman et all. Spare me.
This upcoming game with the Jests (excuse me uhim -cropdusters) will reveal the man. A franchise QB will rally the troops, work with the players that are on the field and get the job done. This will be his 4th game against them, he should be able to figure out what to do and when to pull the trigger. I do not want to hear this...well the o-line is not what it needs be. BS (Of course we need to upgrade the guard positions, and the center and a new updated OC) Play within your self, execute. This what leaders do. Confidence in what your coaches are telling you, in your God given abilities to make the throws, change the plays etc. I can just hear now... we need to give him more time...If we just had this or that then we could make a decision if he is our Future QB. I am telling you do not need to have a perfect cast around a QB to tell if he has what it takes to be a Franchise QB. So Go ahead and rip me. Mark my words this game(in NY/cold weather/ injury depleted) will reveal (barring an injury) what we have in Chad H.
