Henne or Snatchez who is the better QB?
For as many people here that are thinking that Henne sucks now, there are just as many Jets fans thinking that Sanchez is the second coming of Joe Nameth. I personally beleive that if Sanchez came to Miami with the way our offensive surrounding cast is playing and our suck Azz OC, Sanchez would sink like a rock (ala Thigpen). My question is (without being biased) if the chance prevailed would you straight up trade Henne for Sanchez?

The Jets are 9-3.
And we aren’t.
I’m on the side of true love…and a good running game.

A play away from 5-7
Though Sanchez did WIN those games for the Jets, I doubt on the Ohins they would of gave him a chance to. Also Jets have a top 5 running game and defense and all the tools on offense to win games.
Along with coaches playng to win!
Fire Dan Henning!
Imagine if our DBs had pulled in even half the interceptions that they've dropped
One could probably add 3 games to our win column.

^^^^^^^This!!!
I’ve been posting this for some time - sometimes defenses need to cover up their own QB’s mistakes by making a stinking play now and then.
Jason Allen leads out team in INT’s - and he’s been gone for a few games. He also has 2 more for Houston.

Considering there are at least
2 pick-sixes that should have been made that would have won the game. I can think of the Sean Smith one, Nollan Carroll on Sunday, I also think there was another potential one.
wait there's more!
Benny Sapp dropped one versus Vikes. And Kendal Langford could’ve made a play against the Jets earlier. Opportunities presented their self, we just couldn’t make the plays.
I should have remembered the Langford one
as it was my first Dolphins game in Miami. I can’t blame him though, you don’t expect a DL to catch a ball that is right in his hands but you do to a DB though.
I expect any single professional athlete to catch what Langford didn't.

I wouldn't take that trade.
Neither are pro-bowl QB’s.
I agree with others
In saying neither are really top QBs. But he does have a key advantage over henne, he has a starters mindset, he fights all game long. He doesn’t have the tools Henne has but he has the drive Henne appears to lack. But in the end both are flawed QBs Sanchez benefits greatly from the money the Jets have thrown around, but he was exposed badly last night.
Sanchez would struggle here, but I think people wouldn’t be as frustrated because of how he plays and his struggles like Henne’s would be on him as well as we saw in the NE game he is not a great QB. Also Thigpen is not a good comparison as he only started one game and didn’t have a legitimate shot in that game. I would like to see him with the protection Henne typically gets before we can truely judge Thiggy.
If given a choice between Sanchez or Henne next year… I would draft a QB :-)
Sanchez has
-The trust from his coaching staff to go out and make the occasional mistake.
-The knowledge that he’s the “man” in the system
-A running game to keep him from always being in 3rd and long
-A defense that can score
-Special Teams that can score
It’s a lot easier IMO to be asked to be a game manager and not a gunslinger when you have all phases of your football team (offense, defense, ST) clicking.
Look how well the Sanchize did last night when asked to play from behind.
Like I said:
Sanchez and most other QB’s would suck out in Miami’s offense right now. A lot of fans ready to completely give up on Henne, but I think Henne does ok considering what he has to work with right now. I think we should hang on to Henne at least 1 more season, invest in a wicked OL, find a young stud speedy RB and best QB available in the offseason (Draft or FA), Let Henne go wild the last 4 games of this season (Hopefully he can work through the growing pains), then let Henne and the new QB battle for the starting spot next off season. I think Henne in the right offense will surprise.
Well
Sanchez has a potiental HC in Brian Schottenheimer calling his plays, we have a crazy old fart calling ours.

I was just trolling at GGN and there are guys there calling for McDaniels as OC as well
Apparently to some of them, Schottenheimer is “consistently terrible” at play calling.
